Bio:

Segue is Jordan Sauer from Vancouver, Canada. He makes electronic music on his computer, everything from ambient and drone to dub and techno. With a keen attention to the sounds chosen in each composition, the music is built up of layers of tones and textures using recordings of acoustic instruments and everyday events. He has released several solo albums and collaborated with a variety of artists, some of which are available on record labels. About:
In Vitro is the moniker of Quetzal Contla, born in Mexico, he has been developing music, sound design and mixes, interacting with very different styles. His music has been published by Nulogic, Kreislauf, Silent Flow, Soundsphere, Deep Electronics, among other creative international labels. He was releasing music of numerous music projects from around the world over a decade through
Breathe Compilations netlabel. Also delivers mixtapes for Mixotic, op3n, Deepindub, DJ Magazine presents Soundlab, Poisonoise,
Bass and Space and Stellar Series.

Artist: The Open Circle [Greyscale / Crossfade Sounds/ Axaminer / OHM Series / ODrex]

Our 17th Frontier journey comes from Belgian producer Geert Thirry better known as - The Open Circle. We have been big fans of The Open Circle since we discovered his music a few years ago. He is an incredible producer and very versatile artist, who’s music can span from deep ambient soundscapes, to low slung chuggy dub techno all the way up to full dance floor fist pumping Techno. His production is mostly done using a Modular synthesizer and some other hardware. Then Layered textures and evolving rhythms are built to define the signature style with analog warmth and hypnotic depth.  

Geert has been producing music for many years, His first EP was actually released back in 2003 on the UK label ” Lost Language “as a double vinyl. Released under the alias Karada the release was more in the melodic Techno sphere. Since then his style and sound has developed into the deep Dub Techno he is known for today. His productions have been gathering more and more acclaim with his recent release on the legendary Greyscale placing him firmly towards to the top echelons of the Dub Techno world. 

We are honoured to be able to welcome Geert to the Dub Explorations and Frontier family and look forward to hearing his future productions.

These monthly released sessions brings you the best and the most diversity Ambient music can offer. This month melondrui presents his second chapter for the Ambient Sessions called "into the extreme"

About:
melondruie may or may not be a mostly docile yeti living in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, making ambient/electronic music, putting together mixtapes, and occasionally venturing to the edges of civilization to share the results with humans of discerning taste. if you listen closely on cold, damp autumn nights, you can hear a low bass rumble emanating from the nearby woods along with the howls of the forest animals voicing their approval.
