Too many of us are obsessed with the future. Starting from an early age, we are taught to focus on constantly trying to reach greater heights. Since middle school our eyes are on the prize. Since then, we are looking forward to high school. In high school, the pressure is on to get into a reputable college. From college, we are focused on getting a well-paying job. And now you think, “OK. I’ve worked hard. Now, I can relax.” But no, you can’t. Now, you are working toward that next promotion. And the promotion after that. And the promotion after that...

This constant obsession makes us completely forget where we came from. “The future ceased to exist at the same time we believed ourselves to be gods” says Alex. And we couldn’t agree more.

Alex is the man behind Doctrina Natura’s project. Born and raised in Sevillia (Spain) he combines techno and ambient with a very marked personality. Exquisite and powerful are the first words that come to mind to define his work, where he will soon release a new almighty album on our beloved @oslated

Alex ends up telling us: “We are facing a moment of rebirth, because life is nothing but a series of cyclical events that return to the origin again and again. Nature will decide when and how we will return to it”.

Cobahn is a Korean DJ, and started her musical journey as part of Seoul’s deep spiritual techno scene. She recently moved to Amsterdam to keep exploring and broaden her horizons. Her music is influenced by Oriental philosophies and awe-inspiring Mother Nature. She combines deep and experimental styles, which are blended into authentic soundscapes. She formerly played at the club vurt in Seoul, was a member of the odd, mysterious experimental techno party Ya-cha, and performed with the likes of Svreca, Joachim Spieth, Blazej Malinowski, Patrick Russell, Ron Morelli, Al Burro, Iori, Objekt, Ben Buitendijk and many more. And she was recently announced in the artist lineup of Mostra 2022, an avant-garde and experimental electronic music festival in Barcelona. She is currently focused on all kinds of deep music filled with organic, hypnotic and avant-garde touches.

Bio: 

A Dj/producer from Okinawa, Japan. Now based Berlin. Iori’s musical career started up in Naha, Okinawa in the late 90′s. He went to New York in 2003, and later on headed back to Japan. Taking Okinawa as center, Iori is famed in both Japan and stages around the world at the present. As deeply influenced by True Deep house, Manuel Gottsching, Moritz Von Oswald, and Basic Channel, Iori does not only present sets ranging from House to Techno but is also proficient in alternative deep sets. 
Characterised by the heavy and bouncy rhythms , grand atmospheric synth layers, He has already established his unique sound in the European techno / house circuit.

Words : Vor fünf Jahren habe ich einen Mix mit dem Titel "From Krautrock to Kosmische Musik"erstellt. Während der Arbeit entdeckte ich das Buch "Krautrocksampler" von Julian Cope. Als Ambient-Liebhaber und hingebungsvoller "cosmic traveller" im musikalischen Sinn erregte ein bestimmtes Kapitel zum Thema "Kosmische Musik" meine Aufmerksamkeit.
Zwei Jahre später bestellte ich eine Ausgabe des bereits lange vergriffenen Buches und las es in einem Stück, da es nicht nur auf faszinierende Weise erstaunliche Einblicke in Aspekte deutscher Kultur und Musik bot, sondern, was noch wichtiger war, nachvollziehbar machte wie die Musik handwerklich geschaffen wurde und von wem genau.

Ich hatte schon längere Zeit Krautrock gesammelt und fühlte mich nunmehr eher der "kosmischen" Bewegung verbunden als dem eher rhythmuslastigen Krautrock-Stil. Musiker wie Klaus Schulze, Popol vuh, Ashra, Edgar Froese (RIP), Harmonia  und natürlich auch Tangerine Dream. So formte sich in mir die Idee, einen Mix mit der vom Beat befreiten deutschen Musik zu gestalten, die heute als "Kosmische Musik" bekannt ist. Ich kramte meine Lieblingsalben zusammen und ging an die Arbeit. Ich habe Tangerine Dream zwei Mal live erleben dürfen und würde den Mix gerne der Arbeit des späteren Edgar Froese widmen. Auch wenn er nicht mehr unter uns weilt - seine Musik bleibt bestehen.

So lade ich Euch ein, für über eine Stunde zusammen "very cosmic" zu sein!

Five years ago, I made a mix called From Krautrock to kosmische musik. As I was making the mix, I discovered Julian Cope's book called ''Krautrocksampler'' In that book lies a section which is quite interesting for me, as an avid cosmic traveller and ambient buff. The section is about ''Kosmische music''. Two years ago, I ordered the long out of print book and read it all so quickly, fascinated by this amazing insight in German culture, music and more importantly, how the music came to be crafted and by whom. I had started collecting Krautrock before, but I found myself more drawn towards the cosmic movement than the rhythm based motorik style known as Krautrock. Musicians like Klaus Schulze, Popol vuh, Ashra, Edgar Froese (RIP), Harmonia  and of course, Tangerine dream. So came the idea of making a mix on beatless cosmic german tracks known as ''kosmische musik''. I gathered my favorite albums, and made the mix. I have seen Tangerine dream live twice and would like to dedicate this mix to the late Edgar Froese. The man may be no longer on Earth with us, but his music will live on forever... And let yourself be ''very cosmic'' (Sehr kosmisch) for over an hour together !

Adhémar is a multi-disciplinary artist, establishing his universe through music and visual works.
Constantly in search of the luminous quality of sounds, in a world made of shadows and light, his music is closely linked to his plastic work.
This obsession with shadows leads him to think and create spaces, atmospheres that focus on the lightness and poetry of light. The idea of "narrative potential of music", allows us to confront the psychological and philosophical journey with a particular relationship on what is alive and what surrounds us (whether it is the material, immaterial world, the fact that everything is constantly becoming). With a particular rigour for transitions, whether in his own production or in his DJset, his universe is built little by little, with the passing of sound transformations and the light and poetic transportation of it all.
