Bio:
Segue is Jordan Sauer from Vancouver, Canada. With a background in classical violin and guitar he now enjoys producing electronic music on his computer. Drawing from a diverse range of influences, the music he creates ranges from ambient and drone to dub and folk. With a keen attention to detail and sound palette in each composition, the music is built up of layers of sound from primarily acoustic sources and field recordings. He has released several solo albums and collaborations which are available on a variety of record labels, including Silent Season, Under the Spire, Databloem, Tokyo Droning, U-Cover.

Welcome to the 22th chapter of the Deep Consequences Podcast. A collaboration with Deep Electronics from The Netherlands and Truth or Consequences from Italy. Bringing you the best music from the underground. in this montly released podcast. This months set is mixed by ZBK

Biography :

ZBK lives by the ocean in Hossegor, South-West of France. Former member of Get The Curse and In Paradisum crews in Paris, he’s been DJing for almost 15 years. He loves to blend many different styles of music, from jazz to ambient, from soul and house music to minimal and effective techno, always searching for old-school gems and mind-fuck grooves. His main influences are Donato Dozzy and Peter Van Hoesen among many others, and Labyrinth festival in Japan.

He founded Spazio Tempo with two friends three years ago, to throw parties in Paris. They have a residency at the infamous Batofar, where they’ve invited Svreca, Neel, Dasha Rush, Acronym, Milton Bradley, Wata Igarashi, Evigt Mörker, Antigone, Marco Shuttle, Patrick Russell... and many more already planned in the future!

This mix was recorded in his home, using both vinyls & digital. Enjoy!

Based on the stylistic content of the compilation, the boundaries of it can be outlined by tracks from BT Gate X-138, which turned out to be the most noisy and ambient, and Spacedrome, which turned out to be tech with shades of minimal. Also on the collection there are references to reggae music in the track from Khlev with melodic vocal inserts. In the rest of the compositions can clearly be seen the love of the authors to dub techno music, their identity and approach to producing, their depth and perspectives on contemporary sound.
