Next up we’re shipping in a Dutch hefty House-man and giving him the duty of working the third shift and sculpting Vol.3 of the Drifted Audio Electronic Podcast Series. 

So far in his career, he has had the pleasure of founding his own 'SlapFunk Records' label working from his home town, Utrecht, as well as churning out various releases of his own on labels such as Albion, OFF Recordings and his very own SlapFunk. Samuel’s solo compositions of solid beat-driven House music is promised to get your feet moving, not to mention the 90 minutes’ worth of rudeness he’s placed within this mix.

One of the biggest privileges we enjoy as a club is having the chance to host regular takeovers from electronic music’s most definitive labels, and among our favourite showcases has always been One Records.

Since their first joint appearance with us in 2011, founders Adam Shelton and Subb-an have regularly brought the heat to rooms Two and Three of our space, laying down their own style of on-point deep house alongside some of the imprint’s key artists.

Founded in Birmingham in 2009, One Records is now synonymous with a distinct style of UK deep house, welcoming artists like Nail and John Dimas alongside the two founders. Before the pair explore the depths of their collections at the opening of our All Night Long series this Saturday, they delivered us a selection of high-class house tunes to build our anticipation.

Introducing the mix, they told us: “The mix is a selection of tracks we are playing together at the moment, tracks for the floor all with their own identity, some old and some new. How we do…”

Manchester-born now Berlin-based producers, DJ’s and siblings The Willers Brothers have been steadily on the rise in the realms of the stripped-back,underground house click over the past few years. The boys have had the attention and support from artists such as Arapu, Enzo Siragusa, East End Dubs, Prunk, Chris Stussy, Fabe and many more. As well as their production they are no stranger to the clubs, playing venues such as Watergate, Tresor, Pacha Barcelona, Zoo Project Ibiza, Propaganda club Moscow and Claire Amsterdam to name a few. Its an exciting time for the brothers although they have already made their mark firmly in the underground scene.

Dan J is a Croatian DJ currently based in Amsterdam, NL. He was introduced to House music upon arriving to the Netherlands for his studies in 2016. In late 2018, after 2 years of raving, he taught himself how to DJ. Since then, he has been focusing mostly on House, Tech-house, and Deep Tech although he doesn't like to restrict himself with only these genres. He is new to the scene and enjoys delivering groovy basslines and catchy melodies and vocals. Additionally, he is inspired by artists such as ANOTR, Toman, Franky Rizardo, but many others as well.
