Jadon Fonka - Patterns You Left (Original Mix)

UK's deep house specialist Steve Kelley makes his debut on the label with three spectacular tracks.

When it comes to low-slung, chunky house grooves, there's not many better at it than Steve. Breaking onto the scene back in the '90s, his incendiary sets as one of the resident DJs for Godkitchen set him on an upward trajectory from day one. Now signed to Capital Heaven, Bondage and The Soundgarden, he now counts industry heavyweights such as Steve Bug and Nick Warren as high profile fans.

Opening the EP with 'Celestial Harmony' we are quickly introduced to his deep, intense sound. Strating slowly, bass and keys mimic in groove as the layers of percussion around them build tension. Nuanced with great detail, the ebb and flow of the melodics tell an intricate story.

Next up, 'Deep Down' grows with casual unwittingness. In full flow it glides effortlessly around you, as if always there in the background. Glorious and understated, it vibes right to the last beat. Finally, 'Those Things' rounds out the pack in fine form. Icy pads and a groovy beat lay the foundations for tribal bass and deep swells that grow in to an epic mid-set bruiser you'll hear all summer long.

Julian Millan spreads some rythmic fire with three new exceptional cuts and marks his debut on the label!

An artist for some twenty years already, Julien Millan's story is one of perseverance and dedication. He has a long and storied DJ career, playing all over the world with some of the scenes biggest players, but it's his productions that have elevated his standing counting everyone from Hot Since 82 to Guy J as high profile fans in recent years. Signed to a diverse selection of imprints including Stereo, 8bit, and If You Wait, his groovy deepness is finally finding the world stage is deserves.

Opening with 'Cutting Grapes' we are introduced to the bass-driven vibes of Columbia's sun-lit uplands. Deep and hypnotic, the track develops familiarity through warm tones and clever ebbs and flows. 'Mooz Rider' continues the trend with deep rubbery bass and sparse percussion. Building intensity throughout the main break is drumtastic. Finally, 'Tinkerchime' rounds out the pack with the perfect deep house crossover. Powerful bass and musical keys become such a warm, comforting audio hug, you'll have this track on repeat for hours.

Delivering the goods for the next Sudbeat instalment it’s the label very own Graziano Raffa who dons his producer hat again for the ‘Sparking Plugs’ EP. 

An addict to DJ culture, the Italian managed to build a reputation within the scene thanks to his tireless work behind the curtains of the label but not only that. Always blending all shapes of house and techno, his productions and dj sets helped him to reach some of the finest spots within the nightlife Eden, boasting appearances in top venues like Stereo, Warung, Ministry of Sound, Forja, Nom or Barutana, just to name a few. 

Opening with ‘Sparking Plugs’ a bumpty beat and carefully layered percussion reveals delicate samba-esque rhythms. As the bass drops the track toughens up for the dancefloor in fine form. Disco synth and airy orchestral pads fill the mid section as the track reaches fever pitch ready for the final drive for the finish. 

‘Love Stories’ takes a deeper path. Stripped back percs and a spiky bass add low end grunt, while pretty arp flurries and vibing keys are like mind candy for the soul. Finally ‘One More Star’ delves deep into dubby prog territory. A total journeyman track, each new element adds soul and class.

He is frequently guest on the radio shows of largest Internet radio stations such as : Proton, Frisky and Pure.FM.

Here he makes a welcome debut with three fine cuts, Kicking off with 'Fly' a dreamy and beautiful affair, that oozes class from every pore. Beautiful pads with a dreamy edge glide gently over the bouncing bassline, creating a soundscape of happiness as we build effortlessly. Meandering gently across the wash of warmth, while packing serious punch on the dance floor.

Next up is 'Counteraction', a mood setting intense gem, with its big gnarly bassy melodic stabs, laced with tinkling tones that culminate in to a sonic interspersion of wonder. A punchy little number thats set to cause a fuss with many a DJ from across the musical genres of the underground scene.

Keeping the quality level set to maximum, we find 'Delirious'. The title sums the track up nicely, as it works you in to a frenzy. Subtleness is the key here as this gem unfurls it melodies, while packing a mean driving affair. Solid beats, phat stabs, the cool riff and understated fx and squelches glue this all together wonderfully to create a bit of a beast!
