Play Eva is an Italian DJ, based in Milan.
She has always lived in a house full of music, her first concert was at age of 3. Her first set is on audiotape that she made at the age of 17, connecting the tv and using music from musical videos and fashion shows.
She has been a DJ since 2011.
The sound of Play Eva is characterized by Organic/Deep House and grows with influences up to Melodic Techno sounds.
Play Eva's musical signature has always an unexpected groove that travels from 100 to 128 bpm, from #SlowTechno to #UpTempo, crossing the Electronic World Music.

The bicultural kid who grew up between Puerto Rico, Cuba, and the U.S., LA EQUIS carries a story shaped by migration and reinvention. Born to a Puerto Rican mother and Cuban father, his family left Cuba in search of new opportunities in Puerto Rico before settling in the States, shortly after the Cuban revolution. That cross-cultural upbringing deeply influenced his sound, vision, and the world-building behind his work.

LA EQUIS (formerly Xcelencia) is a singer, songwriter, and producer who blends reggaetón with alternative pop, hip hop, electronic elements, and Caribbean rhythms. Known for his use of samples and genre-bending style, he pushes Latin music forward while staying grounded in his roots.

Entirely independent, he has amassed over 55 million streams, voiced Papa John’s on a nationwide Spanish campaign, and earned high-profile syncs with Marvel, Disney, HBO Max, and the MLB The Show series. Beyond music, he spearheads a slate of Latin-culture ventures and is recognized as a pioneer in direct-to-fan releases.

Festival energy runs in my veins. I’ve been behind the decks since 2004, starting with trance before discovering drum & bass through Pendulum’s Girl in the Fire—a turning point that shaped my sound.
