Berlin-based Mona Moore has been a passionate lover of electronic music since the year 2000. Sooner or later, she just had to venture behind the decks. She had her debut in what she now calls "her living room" - the iconic Berlin club, KaterBlau. Since then, she has performed innumerable times both within and outside of the capital. 

Over the last year or so, Moore has entered the production side of things with original releases on Katz&Kauz and Rebellion der Traumer. Mona describes her music as describes a deep, groovy and melodic techno / deep house. Her philosophy when she is playing: "Sharing the love of music and thereby forgetting a few hours of space and time"

We have been following Mona Moore for a couple of years now, and love her unique take on melodic techno. We are super grateful for this exclusive mix, Institution 069: Mona Moore

Schließe deine Augen und gebe dich dem flow hin, der deinen Geist aus dem Körper steigen lässt. Über deinem Kopf bildet sich eine Energiekugel mit einer komprimierten Version deiner selbst, welche sich von den deepen, emotionalen & melodischen Klängen nach oben treiben lässt. Mit einem unsichtbaren Band, verbunden mit deiner Seelenessenz, fliegst du in die fremden Welten der Astralebene. Durch das Sonnensystem, an den Planeten und der Milchstraße vorbei, immer weiter hinauf bist du durch die hochenergetische Wolke aus unserer Galaxie brichst. Sobald du diese Barriere durchbrochen hast, reist du in Lichtgeschwindigkeit an den
unterschiedlichen fremden Galaxien vorbei, bis ein dunkles violett-blaues Licht erscheint, welches dich umhüllt und immer heller wird. Du fließt durch diese abstrakte Astral Ebene, wo kein Raum und Zeit besteht und dort erscheint dann ein weißer Tunnel, in den du eintauchst. In Lichtgeschwindigkeit fliegst du durch diesen Tunnel und landest in einer strahlenden weißen Ebene. Dort steigst du aus deiner Energiekugel aus und lässt dich in unendlicher bedingungsloser Liebe tragen, verbunden mit allem was ist, und deinem höheren selbst.

Musiphile taucht mit dieser deepen & melodische Geschichte in die kosmischen Ebenen weit entfernter Astral Ebenen ein. An eventful year is coming to an end. We have reached many milestones with our podcast series and our record label. In addition, we could finally continue our own event series and invited many friends to play in our living room. An absolute highlight was our summer tour with gigs in Gran Canaria and Thailand. Manchmal sind wir der Oberfläche des Bewusstseins derart nahe, dass wir uns im Klaren darüber sind gerade zu träumen. Wir öffnen unsere Augen und nehmen mit wachem Verstand den blauen Himmel wahr. Mit unseren Handflächen ertasten wir das satte Grün unter uns. Wenn wir den Kopf drehen erblicken wir eine weite üppig bewachsene Ebene. Dahinter Hügel deren Vegetation von Scharlach bis Azurblau, von hellem Grün über flammendes Gelb bis hin zu Tiefrosa reicht. Unsere Augen sind verzückt vom Spiel der Farben. Wir verspüren das Verlangen aufzustehen. Sind aber zu schwach und zu benommen. Hilflos drehen und wenden wir unseren Kopf auf der Suche nach Halt.
Plötzlich durchdringen Geräusche die liebgewonnene Stille. Zunächst scheinen sie Krawallmacher in unserer Idylle zu sein. Doch es sind unsere Ohren, die die Klänge verzerren. Sie scheinen betäubt zu sein. Mit der Zeit wird aus dem dumpfen Krach, ein rhythmisches Brummen. Bald darauf hören wir immer klarer und wir beginnen die unbekannten Töne genauso zu lieben, wie das vorherige Nichts. Wo vor kurzem noch Schwäche herrschte, beflügelt uns jetzt die Musik. Wir heben sanft vom Boden ab und schweben über der Ebene...
Lasst euch von den Rhythmen von Kuba and Fry durch die Landschaft tragen und genießt das Gefühl der Unbeschwertheit.

Deep Stories is a collective of DJ/producers, writers and photographers with a passion for storytelling in all possible ways. In their universe, sounds, words and images form a complementary unity, so that the audience can absorb all these different sensations at the same time. With this unprecedented vision in mind, DJ’s The Doubljuh and Kork founded the Deep Stories podcast series in 2016, which was enthusiastically received by a rapidly growing community. By amalgamating different lifestyle areas (literature, photography, music) many people quickly became enthused by this innovative project and within a year the Deep stories Soundcloud channel reached the mark of 10K followers before smashing the 20K milestone the following year. Driven by the enormous positive feedback, the team has expanded and founded its own music blog. This allows the audience to stay informed about new releases, events and upcoming gigs, in addition to weekly charts and tips for the weekend planning for electronic music lovers. The latest addition is the new booking feature, by which the artists of the Deep Stories crew can be booked for deep house and techno parties. Thus, the Deep Stories project consists of three components: the podcast series, the music blog and the booking area. Over the years the team has also grown and many partnerships have been sealed. Among other things, there is a close collaboration with other podcast channels, travel blogs and even street artists, fueling yet even more creative minds…
