Born and raised in Guanajuato, México, Saul Sanchez has been living for the past 9 years in Oslo, Norway. Having spent most of his childhood in the mountain hills of the Mexican "bajío" with his indigenous ancestors brought big influence to his life. Pre-hispanic, folkloric, Latin-American, tribal and shamanic sounds conform an essential part of his musical exploration. This is for him, a way to keep his roots alive. Saul introduces complex sets, giving as result a multi-cultural sounds journey which appears to transport you to ancient rituals, always by the hand, naturally, of powerful and hypnotic basslines. So please, enjoy this lovely trip! <3

"This is a story about home. About leaving home behind, venturing to new lands, feeling lost between places, and at last returning home again. It’s about realizing that home is not a physical place, but a place in your heart. It is safety, belonging, and being with the people you love.

Last year, we said goodbye to our home in Chicago to begin a new life in LA. In that transition, we moved around a lot, living in other people’s homes and bouncing between cities. This set is also inspired by our feelings of returning home to Burning Man, as many of us will this coming week after several years away. We hope you enjoy this journey through the excitement, melancholy, and bittersweet.

Jacqui Mateo draw from a wide range of influences to create their unique sound: soulful, groovy, playful, healing, futuristic, and from the heart. From Chicago and currently residing in Los Angeles, Jac & Matt grew up immersed in music and were classically-trained from an early age. Despite performing and producing individually for years, it was only in mid-2020, confined in a cabin in Wyoming, that they dove headfirst into DJing. Playing intimate gatherings soon led to their first club gigs, opening for artists such as Monolink and Satori.

As co-creative directors and co-founders of REVIVEcollective, Jac and Matt have a passion for creating immersive experiences that bring together art, music, and community. With their collective, they've produced large-scale underground events and host an annual creative retreat.

Outside of Jacqui Mateo, Jac is a cellist, vocalist, and sound practitioner facilitating sound meditations. She has released music as Jac Høja, Jac Støvler, and with her band A Billion Young. Matt DJs on his own under his name, Matthew McClone.

Robine, is a Swedish-born who grew up in Stockholm, but is now firmly rooted in Berlin. She discovered her love for the bass on the basketball court with fat hip-hop beats and r&b of the 90s. The House music scene, which was growing in the early 2000s, was also a clear affair of the heart for Robine. Having played and danced her way through the international House and Techno community, Robine's sound today is a spectrum of emotionally driven sounds.

Robine, who also produces her own music, sees her main focus on melancholic, melodic and harmonic Techno. She has releases on several labels with support from Einmusik, Nora en Pure, Animal Trainer and Robosonic. You can expect an emotional and energetic performance, where Robine is always in touch with the people on the dance floor.

Today she is a recognised member of the Berlin club and DJ scene.

"You don't know how strong the dark side can be."

This saying from a well-known science fiction epic is probably familiar to many of us. Even in reality, this statement retains its truthfulness. The dark side creates curiosity. The unknown what hides and opens only to the initiated. It is interesting because it is not good. And already we want it even more. In science, this is called the "Forbidden Fruit" effect. It goes back to the story of Adam and Eve, who could not resist the temptation of the forbidden fruit. The wicked and mysterious seem to awaken our primal instincts and seduce us. The dark is strong!

Othertune has tried to capture this fascination of the dark in his set. It lives from his synthesizer sounds, which lay over your mind like fog and pull you deeper and deeper into the darkness. Can you resist the temptation?

Afrika Burn, you magical place.
A week in nirvana, in the middle of the desert where there is hardly any life. But I have never felt so alive as there, you people make this place unique. 
This set was the most impressive I have ever experienced. Being able to play on our camp's own mutant vehicle, right after the Silent Clan Burn, was the greatest musical gift I've ever been allowed to unwrap.

I am still speechless, thank you a thousand times.

Unfortunately I had to make this experience without Lukas, who unfortunately could not be there. Many more adventures are waiting for us together <3

Gwen Wayne startete 2010 ihre technoide Tanzkarriere mit der Gründung des Labels "der turnbeutel" mit Henna Starla in Bremen.
Nach einigen Jahren wurde das Baby zu dick für Mutti und Berlin schrie aus seiner heiseren Kehle nach einer Runde Rave. 
Ihrem Stil hat sie einen neuen Namen gegeben: Shitstormtechno!, denn es darf auch gerne mal scheiße sein. Von Trap bis Hildegard K, von Techno bis Techhouse.
Musik kennt keine Grenzen.
Mit ihren Crews "Tour de Farce - Berlin" und "Keine Party! Bremen" veranstaltet Gwen Wayne ebenfalls seit Jahren eigene Raves, bei denen die Prämisse lautet: Jeder kommt rein, auch wenn er keine Kohle hat. Freier Raum für alle! Mehr Musik für jeden!
Neue Stadt, neues Glück: In Hamburg ergab sich schnell die Kooperation mit Jacob Jonas.
Zudem ist sie Mitbegründerin der Bookingagentur EQ:Booking und Resident im Club Moloch

Jacob Jonas gründete 2010 mit seinem Freund Tim Summer das DJ Duo BODEGA und kurz darauf das Kollektiv MINIMAL ANDERS, das seither mit einer Vielzahl an Künstlern und verschiedenen Events viel zur norddeutschen Technoszene beigetragen hat. Bodega groovte durch die Clubs und produzierte auch eigene Musik. Veröffentlichungen gab es auf Traum Schallplatten official, Kallias und Inlab Recordings.
Sein neues Projekt „Jacob Jonas“ ordnet sich soundtechnisch eher dem Genre Techno zu. Er bezeichnet seinen Stil gerne als Frickel-Techno, eine knackige Mischung aus unkonventionellen Elektronika und treibendem Techno. Damit fand er sich zuletzt eher in der alternativen Technoszene Hamburgs wieder, wo er mit seinen Sets auf Solipartys und kleineren nicht kommerziellen Events spielte. Zusammen mit dem Knust Hamburg erschuf er das Projekt OKÆSE.

Diese beiden, auf einem Haufen, bilden eine solidarisch liebevolle und musikalisch kraftstrotzende Synergie. Was dann raus kommt, ist shitty Technopunk, eine Ansage an Alles, was sich ändern muss und ein Wink mit dem Basskasten!

Deep Stories is a collective of DJ/producers, writers and photographers with a passion for storytelling in all possible ways.
