► About:
Schtu was born at the start of the 90s in Sheffield, an ex-industrial city in the north of England. Always obsessed with music, he spent his teenage years playing guitar in bands and in 2010 he bought a pair of Technics 1210s and started to collect records to DJ with.

He started producing his own music soon after, and has since gone on to release on established labels such as URSL, Connaisseur Recordings and Laut & Luise, receiving DJ support on his tracks from scene heavyweights such as Adriatique, Frankey & Sandrino, Super Flu and Adana Twins.

2021 then saw the launching of Schtu’s own label - Casomat (@casomatberlin), with the debut release (Schtu - ‘Siberian Express EP’) receiving a 10/10 review from German print magazine Faze Mag.

Armed with a healthy collection of analogue gear he now has both the tools and the talent to step up his game and take his music to the next level.

MeeronautenCast #39 - Solarwind

Not all first times are really great, but my first time playing at Acid Bogen in @kater_blau a couple weeks ago really really surpassed what I had envisioned and could have wished for the occasion. Initially, I was supposed to play B2B once again with my dear friend @janoma, but unfortunately he couldn't be present on that day. Luckily, the slot was perfect for me alone as well - early Saturday morning, sunrise time.

I absolutely love to play sunrise (and sunset 😉) sets, as they are perfect for dwelling between light and darkness. In those early hours, when tiredness kicks in, but the longing to connect and to dance is stronger, the atmosphere tends to be very inviting for warmth, charm, depth, dreaminess and intimacy. And so it was, in the so called here's and now's which took place then. I think I had never seen Acid Bogen so full at that time of the morning as in the last hour of my set (: More important than that, I had the right people by my side supporting me, which makes all the difference!! All of this together simply created such an amazing vibe for the brand new day that just started. A day which I don't want to ever forget ❤️ so much gratitude to all the dancers who danced their souls out, especially to my long-term listeners and those closer ones which I carry dearly in my heart 🙏

🎵 Der heutige Katahaifisch Podcast ist mal wieder ein Hochgenuss der gepflegten Down- und Midtempo-Kunst. Bouncy, dirty und auch ein bisschen verspielt serviert uns Piet van Noord seine persönlichen Favoriten des Genres. Der Münchner DJ und Produzent ist mittlerweile seit über 20 Jahren an den Decks und seine Expertise unverkennbar. Seine Diskografie und seinen Erfahrungsschatz zieren über 150 Auftritte. 2017 rief van Noord dann auch eine eigene Veranstaltungsreihe ins Leben. In München ist er regelmäßig im Bahnwärter Thiel und Zur Gruam zu sehen und hören. Darüber hinaus ist Piet van Noord auch Host einer eigenen Radioshow und begrüßt regelmäßig hochkarätige Gäste und Ausnahmetalente wie Oliver Koletzki, Township Rebellion oder auch Ben Böhmer.

Here are modern urban myths that stand the test of time and are considered unspoken truths. Nowhere written down, they are passed on from mouth to ear and only exist in people's heads. They persist and are part of the respective culture.
There are also stories like this in the electro scene that fire people's imagination. The parties at Warehouse Chicago in the late 70s are considered the mother of all house parties. Animalistic scenes were said to have taken place there while Frankie Knuckles rained down his marathon sets on the crowd. Pure ecstasy rippled through the bodies of those present and the crowd was no longer made up of individuals, but was one big energy-filled being that had developed an uncontrollable life of its own. A movement emerged that anyone could belong to and which was referred to as "Jack" in later tracks. The urban legend of Jack is still used in tracks and mixtapes today. Of course, this is just one of many myths that have developed in electronic dance music.
Perhaps with the deep story of Pia Pan & Heyoka we will be able to create a new modern myth that will bring people together again and let them melt into ecstasy. A mixtape that fires people's imagination and will be the subject of many myths in the future.

Hypnotic melodies and deep sound arrangements are always combined in his mixes to create a special listening and dancing experience. He skilfully combines different subgenres. Whether it's neo disco, downsnappy, gruff indie dance or melodic techno, everything is allowed and only unleashes a special pull when combined. Deep Stories is a collective of DJ/producers, writers and photographers with a passion for storytelling in all possible ways. In their universe, sounds, words and images form a complementary unity, so that the audience can absorb all these different sensations at the same time. With this unprecedented vision in mind, DJ’s The Doubljuh and Kork founded the Deep Stories podcast series in 2016, which was enthusiastically received by a rapidly growing community. By amalgamating different lifestyle areas (literature, photography, music) many people quickly became enthused by this innovative project and within a year the Deep stories Soundcloud channel reached the mark of 10K followers before smashing the 20K milestone the following year. The latest addition is the new booking feature, by which the artists of the Deep Stories crew can be booked for deep house and techno parties.
