Its been more than six months since I’ve had the last chance to play some music in front of a crowd. I tried to put all of my hope, my love & dedication as well as my anger into this DJ mix. This journey reflects what I would be playing in the morning hours at a club such as KaterBlau and some melancholic-melodic moments to just make you fly away. As I must have said before, Fusion is probably THE festival that shaped my sound and it was a dream come thru for me to play there! 🚀 It started raining a bit before my set and I loved how all the ravers went on not giving a f. about getting wet! ☔️ After around 1.45 -2 hours in, it started to become morning, but not a sunny bright morning, a dark German one and it actually worked perfect with the music I wanted to play at Fusion in my dreams all those years. 🌥️ Honestly it's not one of my best mixing, I was maybe a bit too excited, but I am in love with every single track I played and I really enjoyed every second of this experience, sharing my music in the festival that I have always heard incredible sets from my biggest inspirations. 💕 I connect deeply to every value this festival stands for, i enjoyed it endlessly and will always cherish this memory. Big thanks to everyone who shared this unforgettable moment with me and for those who were not there, I hope you enjoy the recording.

ELIF - Fusion 2023 - Friday Morning Sunrise - Sonnendeck

In 2016 I went to -now my dear friend, back then only my favorite DJ- Mira's birthday at Kater Blau for the first time. I was super into music, making mixtapes at home, going to so many parties and writing about them but not a DJ yet.

The vibe of the club, the music in all floors, and the fact that Mira is big supporter of female acts and seeing all these badass women playing mind-blowing music at this party had its mark on me.

Watching these legends Mira, Britta, Mimi Love, Mila Stern, Caleesi, I wanted to do it myself and I found the motivation, courage and inspiration because they were also women like me! Representation is so important!

In the following years I kept going to this party for my yearly dose of inspiration and of course fun!

Over the years, inspired by Mira and being colleagues now, we became friends and her impact on my life wasn't just musical. She's such a wise and wholesome person with integrity and the heart in all in the right places, that having her as a friend and inspiration definitely made me a better person and my journey of the new international touring DJ way smoother.

in 2021 I was even supposed to play for Mira's 44th birthday for the first time but the pandemic... (I mean I don't even need to finish this sentence). I ended up playing her 44.5 in Summer, the Ersatz Katzen party :)

Anyway, fast forward to 7 years and the birthday queen not only invited me to play her 46 Katzen party but also gave me the biggest honor of taking over the stage after her.

Playing Thursday in NYC, Friday in Montreal, flying back to Europe on Saturday, Sunday noon I arrived to Berlin like a zombie. Sleep before and after the set is hard but during... Actually not that bad. I was on a dream state throughout my set.

It felt really like a dream playing in a room not too long ago gave me the inspiration to be here today celebrating a women who always lifts others up as she rises. 

I also played music from my label Marginalia, I heard Mira and Mila Stern playing Marginalia too and I also two new artists from Marginalia family, Bakayan and D’aria were In the room when I played their unreleased music! What a moment 
I stayed sleep dancing until late because of all the incredible music

what an honor to play at this unique birthday celebration, I am grateful to life

Dave Silverfish is a Beat-Poet , a landscape architect with sound. His career began in the early 90’s at Billboard NYC were i was in charge of the global record pool . In the late 90’s i left NYC and started Silverpro events company hosting the top producers from around the world - Sasha , John Digweed, Lee Burridge , Hybrid Live , Green Velvet Live , BT Live , Thomas Dolby Live , Way Out West Live , Junkie XL Live to DJs Paul Oakenfold to Quivver and many more. The Silver brand has been synonymous with Legends like Derrick Carter to Larry Heard even. Today still occasionally booking shows but each month i lock myself in the studio with new music and build Organic Deep House to Afro House compositions purely for Therapeutic Use. Under the Silverfish guise Dave Silver launched a podcast “ The Piscean “ focusing on Organic and Afro House in 2019. I’ve been invited to play for labels and channels from every country and always enjoy spreading Deep House vibes wherever i go ….

Nature pacifies my mind and my soul. I can breathe deeply and let go. The oppressive darkness slowly recedes and warmth rises within me. Inspired by this energy, I glide through the forest. Only slowly do the first thoughts come to me again. This time, however, they spread confidence and even joy. The driving force behind this burgeoning hope is the four-four beat drumming out of my headphones. It is the rhythms and melodies that drive me forward again. My old friend, music, is back in my thoughts and that feels damn good. Only now do I realize how much this elementary part of my life has faded into the background. All the events have so consumed me that I could no longer feel the music. But now it's fighting its way back beat by beat and exuding its original magic.

Bringing people closer to joy through music is also the aim of our guest today. Embark on a journey through the bright side of being with the resident of the Berlin collective “Dit Klingt Jut” Maltech and enjoy the first gentle rays of sunshine of the year with a few well-chosen gems of electronic music.

Deep Stories is a collective of DJ/producers, writers and photographers with a passion for storytelling in all possible ways. In their universe, sounds, words and images form a complementary unity, so that the audience can absorb all these different sensations at the same time. With this unprecedented vision in mind, DJ’s The Doubljuh and Kork founded the Deep Stories podcast series in 2016, which was enthusiastically received by a rapidly growing community. By amalgamating different lifestyle areas (literature, photography, music) many people quickly became enthused by this innovative project and within a year the Deep stories Soundcloud channel reached the mark of 10K followers before smashing the 20K milestone the following year. Driven by the enormous positive feedback, the team has expanded and founded its own music blog. The latest addition is the new booking feature, by which the artists of the Deep Stories crew can be booked for deep house and techno parties. Thus, the Deep Stories project consists of three components: the podcast series, the music blog and the booking area. Over the years the team has also grown and many partnerships have been sealed. Among other things, there is a close collaboration with other podcast channels, travel blogs and even street artists, fueling yet even more creative minds…
