Matt Blue kommt gebürtig aus der Nähe von Berlin und wuchs in die Technowelle der 90er hinein. Sein Musikgeschmack wurde dadurch bis heute nachhaltig geprägt. Mit 16 verschlug es ihn darauf in seine Wahlheimat Hamburg und er machte sich einen Namen in der lokalen DJ Szene.

Seit 2009 ist er hier nun Resident DJ im Hamburger 136° The Club auf der Reeperbahn und Mitbegründer des gleichnamigen Clublabels 136 Grad Recordings.

Matt Blue verzichtet bei seinen Sets auf verspielte Zutaten. Die besondere Mischung aus Indie / Deep - Tech / Melodic House & Techno macht seine Set´s zu Unikaten mit Charakter.

BIO
Daria Fomina was born in Moscow region. She graduated from music school as a teenager in piano class and her musical inspiration in electronic music who shaped her musical taste DJs and music projects such as Robert Miles, Radiohead, Enigma, Massive Attack, Prodigy, André Tanneberger, Tiësto, Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, John Digweed, Sasha, Deep Dish, Pole Folder, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Sébastien Léger, Guy J and others. In the beginning, she played on several radio stations of different geographical locations and hosted several exclusive podcasts. At the moment, Daria is a resident of the Frisky Radio (US), where she hosts a two-hour podcast where she invites unique, talented DJs and music producers on her show Oxygen and on DI.FM Progressive Channel (US), Subcode Radio (UK) and DNA Radio FM (AR) where she hosts her one-hour show Purple Sky. Daria has played on Amsterdam Dance Events as part of ADE Frisky Boat, Iconic & Krafted event, Burning Man Project and amongst other events. Her first release has coma in spring 2021 on label Droid9. Her sounds are filled with deep and melodic progressive house combined with melodic techno, tech house, deep house, organic house and adding different shades of electronic music.

3 QUESTIONS to TOWNSHIP REBELLION:

Q: Four man behind looks like a "boy band". How have you guys met each other and what's the story behind your artist name?

A: We are all friends from the same town in South Germany. We don't have a big local scene like Berlin or Cologne so it was obvious to us that we had to work hard to be recognized. The name came from a homage to a "Rage Against The Machine" track with the same title. 

Q: Guess it's not that easy to match all tastes when producing or playing your music. How do you arrange with this in the studio or on the stage?

A: We all have different backgrounds and talents. It takes time to bring all of those together, but at the end of the day everyone in the team benefits from our diverse pool of skillsets. What most people don't see that we don't just produce, we handle the whole thing ourselves, from management to booking, video productions, marketing etc.. Basically all the areas artists need to handle these days. On the stage we currently play as a team of two representing Township at gigs. 

Q: Which future projects are on the way?

A: We are starting our first bigger international tours towards the end of the year. There will also be a few more releases this year to look forward to.

Actually I was trip'n around the whole night and couldn't really find my spot during the night. Started to panic about the fact that I've to play... But suddenly after I entered the stage, everything changed... Received such a huge amount of positive vibe from the crowd, unbelievable... and after that, the time just fly away and we really kissed the sun <3
I want to thank each and everyone of you who shared that beautiful morning with me, the funky Durusha colective for creating this recreational weekend every year and of course all my good friends for sustaining me in what I'm doing.

In the beginning he was playing with the nearest sounds to the scene of House, to give a jump to Minimal at the end of 2000. And that year he got interested all the slopes of Techno, from its purer roots, spinning the more melodic vibes, deep sounds, and progressive aspects and looking always at producers and record labels that offer great quality in their productions.

Deep Stories is a collective of DJ/producers, writers and photographers with a passion for storytelling in all possible ways. In their universe, sounds, words and images form a complementary unity, so that the audience can absorb all these different sensations at the same time. With this unprecedented vision in mind, DJ’s The Doubljuh and Kork founded the Deep Stories podcast series in 2016, which was enthusiastically received by a rapidly growing community.
