Referring to what is not seen or heard within a set. Because sometimes it is not about the song itself, if not the moment where it enters, it is more about the essence or "ether" of the song, rather than the result itself.

We could not wish for a better way to break the silence than with such a valuable artist as @Leonlobato. Our passion for electronic music started years ago by discovering the Seven Villas imprint. Leon has been a beautiful contribution to Seven Villas, and having Leon sharing his perception of Far Blue with us feels like the perfect way to start of showcasing the Far Blue Concepts of artists that we admire.

Straight from Mexico, Leon brings to you an almost 2-hour long story of his perception of Far Blue. Recorded in Cuautitan Izcalli, meaning “your house among the trees” in Nahuatl, Leon finds much of his inspiration from his environment. Resulting in 2 hours of emotional music exploring deeper and dubby melodies, swerving through organic rhythms.

Still I'm getting goose bumps thinking about that weekend... when I was walking on very thin ice! (Gans dünnes Eis, Sportsfreund*)

A big shout-out to all the peepz who danced the sweat out of that cold as second floor at Unverschämt! As well as to the two DJs who tuned in about in the middle of the set and helped to make this set even more diverse, more deep and melodic.
Also a big dedication to the Birthday Kid who turned 30 and threw this party better than imaginable and brought everyone more close together.

This set evolves from a sweet, groovey, warm mix into beautiful and more melodic deep house parts and finally into more fancy and driving House!

The fabulous VaK general assembly in the hungover afternoon of the 1st of January 2025. What a great party that was.

es geht ans Eingemachte! Am 1.1.25 treffen wir uns ab 14:00 noch knackig-knusprig, knochentrocken oder vielleicht schon knödelweich im Kaufleuten extd. zum grössten Kochkunstkritikerkongress in der Geschichte der ketaminreichen Kulinarik. Bern schickt eine abgespeckte Delegation mit Rösti, Cassis und Parmesan - Viola entschuldigt: am Herd, Karin entschuldigt: im Keller (aka K-Hole). Selbst aus dem schluckfreudigen Ausland reisen ein paar klebrige Luxemburgerli, fettreduzierte Berliner, geplatzte Wienerli und krümelige Mailänderli an. Sofern sie die Festtage unverdaut überstehen.

Dank Fasten und Meditation über dem Mistkratzerli Mandala ist den meisten der Fünfer und das Weggli wohl schon runter. Für die andern, die vielleicht nicht alle Tassen im Schrank haben oder etwas teigig denken, also für dich, wärmen wir es gern nochmals auf: das Motto am kommenden Neujahr heisst

Komm als wurmbefallene Wadenbeisserin, als serviler Cervalat, als orthorektischer Omnivore, als palaststoffreicher Hüttenkäse! Komm als appetitgezügelte Kannibalin! Komm, weil das immer gefällt, als schwer beleidigte Leberwurst!

Wenn du glaubst, mit deiner Kostümwahl sei nun alles im Butter, dann sei gewarnt: geniesse den mitgebrachten leistungssteigernden und bewusstseinsstrapazierenden Proviant massvoll und diskret, sonst gehst du der Security auf die Eier. Keinesfalls alles auf einmal verschlucken. Lieber ein bisschen Intervallfasten.

Falls du den Hals einfach nie vollkriegst und mit Gusto dein persönliches Ablaufdatum verpasst, brutzelt es am 2. Unsere Freunde dort werden dich erst nach vollständiger Selbstfermentation auf den Heimweg lassen, als 101% pures, am Knochen sonnengereiftes Gammelfleisch.

David Duriez is known for making House and proper underground electronic music since the beginning of the 90's - 30 years in the music industry, founder and keeper of the [briquerouge] label, home of the best french electronic renegades since 1999, David Duriez is lurking in the shadow of the french Electronic scene, keeping it real and true. Artist in various styles of music, dj and innovator, he's always in search of new ways to distribute and value Electronic Music and always a step ahead. Definitely not just one for the hype.

Since 1994, David released over a hundred records under his name, tens under various pseudonyms, outputs mainly vinyl on the most renowned labels like 2020Vision, Ovum, Systematic, Pokerflat, F Communication, Mobilee, Under the Counter, Stickman, Classic Music Company, Crosstown Rebels, The End, etc .. Brique Rouge has released deep house, jacking house, tech-house, acid house, vocal anthems and much more... Definitely a label for open-minded people, not stuck in one genre of House.
