The Original mix of 'Never Ever' featuring Djiva is a bewitchingly alluring slice of progressive house, tastefully understated yet not devoid of zeal for the dancefloor. Waves of melancholy sweep the frequency spectrum amidst a vocal, adding a melodious and sultry twist.

Cream & Deep Fog are the first of a trio of remixers. Profoundly atmospheric and respectful of the original, the mix delivers a finely balanced juxtaposition between the inspirative and the deep. The cinematic feel doesn't go unnoticed and additional melodic elements augment a solid, progressive landscape.

The well-established Alex Vidal is next to take to the studio controls, his remix decidedly more dancefloor focused than it's predecessors. A dynamic and energetic bed of bass and percussion galvanises the vocal which, in keeping with it's cohorts, is gracefully retained throughout Vidal's production.

The qoob Beatless remix is the first transition into wholly contrasting territory. With ambience at it's hub and bereft of a percussive led groove, the vocals are allowed to shine amidst a powerful bassline and rhythmic artistry, using the vocals in a manner unique to the interpretations that come before.

An instrumental version of the original completes this varied and accomplished package.

The world has changed, summer 2020 will be different. And is also freedom of travel limited due to the new situation, one essential thing has remained in this difficult time: music. It unites people around the world. It gives hope and joy and is a loyal companion during the crisis. It is just as important now to musically capture the atmosphere and spirit of an island as life-affirming as Ibiza. "Déepalma Ibiza 2020" puts white sandy beaches at your feet and the salty taste of the sea on your tongue.

With the mixes "Sunset Moods", "Pool Party Grooves" and "Beach Feelings" the compilation appears as multifaceted as Ibiza yearly represents itself and provides the right soundtrack for all times of the day. The background to the perfect sunset comes - sometimes dreamy, sometimes driving - from artists such as Claptone, Monika Kruse, Andhim, Oliver Schories, Tube & Berger and Monolink. Up next, the “Pool Party” mix draws on the shuffling hats and infectious melodies of Purple Disco Machine, Wankelmut, David Penn, Roger Sanchez, Milk & Sugar and Franky Rizardo, before the “Beach mix” concludes the package with more relaxed and laidback rhythms from names such as Chasing Kurt, Scibi, Full Intention, Ucha and Alex Kentucky.

But also Déepalma label boss Yves Murasca and his partner in crime, Rosario Galati, once again represent at their best for Summer 2020 and contribute two of their own tracks: "I Don't Need You", remixed by Simone Vitullo, fits perfectly into the "Sunset Moods" and "Time" in the remix of Keyano into the “Beach Feelings“ part of the album.

Kaleidoscopic colours radiate across Frankfurt skyline; "Dusk 28" opens a world of possibilities for Jannis Brinkmann and Naldoe. Shimmering synth lines blink in stratified layers of sound that bleed into each other like the evening sky. A stream of consciousness pours out in cadenced vocal, that lilts gently into the night air.

'Dusk' takes on a new character over the distinctive features of Berlin. An innovative sonic architecture is revealed as sun makes way for moon via the sounds of Robin Schellenberg. Familiar melodic tropes emerge in the gloaming before radiating outward in new warm shades. Ice cool refrains cascade across a new landscape as Chook creates a dark soundscape that beckons the darkness while chopped vocals and new melodies drive relentlessly forward alongside a menacing analogue bassline.
