CHROM goes ADE2025 with a VA-Sampler ànd a 2-day label showcase!

Another edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is just around the corner, and this year marks its 30th anniversary. As always, Chrom Recordings is ready to celebrate in style with their annual ADE Sampler and a 2-day label showcase happening on Friday and Saturday.

Our ADE Chrom Sampler features 10 carefully curated tracks, reflecting the diverse sounds of Progressive House, Indie Dance, and Melodic House & Techno. The Compilation opens with 2 recent Chrom anthems: "Horizon", taken from the "#100"-album by our own label manager Pedro Mercado alongside Karada, followed by our latest single "Missing, the iconic 90's classic from Everything But The Girl covered by Yves Eaux feat. Gregory Douglass.

The remaining 8 tracks are brand-new and exclusive to this release. Half of them are contributions from trusted Chrom regulars: Fernando Lagreca, DJ Andy de Gage', Paul Sawyer and Daniel Vilchez. The other half is coming from artists who are new to our label: JP Lantieri from France, VUH from Mexico, GELIMA from Thailand and Juwlz from Belgium.

We hope you enjoy this year's selection! And if you'll be in Amsterdam this October for ADE, we'd love to see you at our Label Showcase on Friday the 24th and Saturday the 25th. Just like last years, we're teaming up with our good friends from Tanzgemeinschaft, with Strange Town Recordings from Canada joining us on Friday. Across two days, we'll feature 16 international artists performing from 18:00 until 02:00 on both days at The Flying Dutchman (located opposite Amsterdam Central Station). And best of all—entry is free!

Czech dj and producer Arco pairs up with vocalist John Vermont for the release of their new collaborative single entitled 'Let It Go' on Deepalma Records.

'Let It Go' is Arco's Deepalma debut and is exemplary of why this young talent is in such high demand, both as a producer as well as a DJ, with residencies in the best clubs of the czech capital Prague and many further appearances abroad. Originally being inspired and coming from a more classic sounding house background with releases on thriving imprints such as Large Music, Nightbird Music or Miguel Migs' Salted Music, his latest offerings show a significant development towards the deeper and tougher side of electronic music in comparison. 

'Let It Go' is dark and driving from the beginning, courtesy of soaring pads, tangled melodies and purring bass, all spiced up with John Vermont's inimitable vocal performance in the main break. The track then continues powering forward with enticing melodies and heavy synths until the end, resulting in a truly infectious club track, destined to light up dancefloors time and time again.
