'French trio Mind Street’s 'With Me’, featuring acclaimed Canadian songbird Jaidene Veda, gets a full make-over from South African heavyweight producer, Enoo Napa and Canada’s resident Deep House stalwart, Soledrifter. Bringing a deep afrocentric vibe to the song, Enoo Napa offers a spacious melancholy soundtrack with tension filled drops and haunting melodies that intensify and lift Jaidene’s sultry tones. Flipping the script, Soledrifter delivers a deep and jazzy vibe, playfully cutting up the vocals over a smouldering groove driven by piano stabs, a funky bass hook and deep beats.

Mind Street are a French production trio, Jess, Stif and Baby Duke. Their musical output weaves between Soul, Funk, House, Afro and Electronic music, with warm melodies and soulful voices. Since their debut single release on King Street Sounds with ‘Inside' in 2012, Mind Street have gone on to work on various productions and remixes for the likes of Dolls Combers, Groove Assassin, Souldynamic, Mark Di Meo, N’dinga Gaba and Dj Spinna, to name a few. German House sensation Ben Delay unleashes an awe-inspiring follow up mix package of his 2021 release ‚Before I Let Go‘, accompanied with mixes from Superdope & Qubiko, out on Déepalma Soul.

Opening the release, Ben’s alter ego Superdope turns in an upbeat and potent remix of ‘Before I Let Go’. Centring around commanding piano chords and the emotionally-charged vocals of London based singer song-writer Tess Leah, the track ticks all the boxes for a big room club floor filler with euphoric elements and danceable energy throughout.

Qubiko follows, with an astounding dub version of his previously released remix of the track, bringing larger than life beats and captivating melodic components with a deepened twist. Its lightly jacking groove and plucked bassline keep the drive alive from end to end whilst you go on a rollercoaster of peaks and troughs in between.

Back on Toolroom Trax with enough heat to set fire to the dance floor is Academy graduate and Toolroom alumni Scott Costello who releases ‘Don’t Trust Me’. Hailing all the way from Northern Ireland, Scott has established himself as an exciting new producer in the scene, dropping a solid selection of releases on Toolroom’s popular club label.

The first of two danceable cuts, ‘We Still Feel It’, gets off to a flying start with upbeat grooves, gliding pads and a prominent bassline. A consistent and driving energy features throughout as the track ebbs and flows through different phases - blending the light and airy with tastes of the underground.

‘What I Need’ seals the deal with more pacy drum work and an array of bright and warm melodies. Boasting peak time appeal, its progressively rising energy offers several climactic buildups laced with a spirited female vocal that leads to equally momentous throwdowns and full-bodied dancefloor-geared segments.

We’re thrilled (and a little emotional) to celebrate 10 years of MM Discos. For the occasion, we’ve put together a selection of over 30 tracks from a wide range of artists — some who’ve been with us since the very beginning, others who’ve shaped our sound, many we’ve long admired, and a few who are definitely going to make a lot of noise in the near future.
Talking about MM Discos inevitably takes us back to Erkstrasse 19 — the place where it all started to take shape. Our base camp, where those endless afterhour sessions took place, spinning records for hours on end, playing whatever the hell we felt like. Out of that chaos, the MM Discos identity was born. Herr. Gross, wherever you are, sorry for all the noise :P.
If there’s one word that defines everything we’ve done, it’s music. We’ve always run away from trends and genres to craft our own soundtrack — one where disco, house, techno, breaks, pop, dub, electro, african rhythms, synth and rock all coexist freely. Basically, whatever moved us at the time.
That’s always been the MM Discos way. Balearic? Maybe. But really, it’s more about freedom — no rules, no labels, just pure musical instinct. Over the years, we’ve released what we truly believe deserves to be heard, no matter the style, no matter the hype.
Staying true to that spirit, this anniversary release comes in three volumes — a proper “sonic tutti-frutti” that you simply won’t be able to escape.
In this first volume, we move through a spectrum of sounds — from laid-back mid-tempo grooves to more upbeat, house-driven rhythms infused with that unmistakable Balearic touch.
