On their first full-length release the Berlin duo, made up of Fabian Fenk and Anton Feist, have adopted an exciting course. In a technoid frame they create - along with regulars Thomalla (Krakatau), Jörg Wähner (Apparat) and Gunnar Spies (Mia.) - a distinctly organic, in-depth soundscape. Wasted Ruffians often crossed The/Das' path in Berlin club and party scene. They picked up the deeply sad 'Receiver', which contains the breathy female vocal of guest singer Pirjo Marx added to Fenk's distinctive vocal and the tracks haunting feel. 
Accelerating the tempo, revisiting the track with a solid bassline and a restructured composition, it results in a fetching smooth Deep House track!"
