Clocking up their 10th release Dafia have a stunning slice of soulful house landing this week in the shape of Abigail from Black Sauce (aka Julian Bendall, Ricky Reid and The DJ Kid Creole). Originally released back in 2010 it has now been given the 2022 treatment with outstanding mixes coming both from label boss @mannixmuzik and North Street West (Ashley Beedle, Jo Wallace and Darren Morris). 

Our premier today is the luxurious Mannix remix with it's subtle keys, bounce of a bassline and velvety smooth vocal.

Perfectly timed to bring some warmth to the last of the winter days.

Everyone’s favorite Israeli digger is back for another round of gloriously rare edit heat on RNT! ‘Baila’ gets the party started with infectious flamenco chants and claps over a churning acidic groove, and ‘Disco Hummus’ rounds out the side with a bit of joyful disco cheek. On the flip, ‘Sun’ turns an unlikely cover of a classic into an Afro Disco banger, and ‘Simba’ rumbles and rolls with restraint toward a hypnotic peak of brass and vocals. We first got hip to Jesse at his Body Music night at Bembe, here in Brooklyn, which ran for a whopping seven years. However, he's been DJing in NYC and worldwide since 1999. Known for his diverse and eclectic sets (usually accompanied by live musicians), you can expect a mix of vibes, tempos, and genres—from Nigerian disco records to deep, dirty and dusty house, booty-shaking soul, bass-heavy percussive jams, and beyond. He's played with everyone from LTJ Bukem to Africa Bambaata and Robert Hood, from Paris to Berlin to Tokyo, at clubs like Cielo, Limelight, Watergate, and more.
