Informa Experiments is a new series from Informa Records, the aim is to use new methods and ideas to spark creativity and push forward the ever evolving sound of electronic music. 

IREXP001 is a special collaborative project by Deepbass, Ness, Jeroen Search and NX1. 

The idea was to work together on a 4 way collaboration, each artist put a selection of sounds into a folder then from that folder of sounds each artist would create an individual piece of music. 

The release will go out as a limited 12” only.

Deep and hypnotic techno artist Kontinum steps up for this week's Global Vibe Radio episode.

Initially inspired by the subcultural scene of his hometown of Lübeck, the young artist was strongly influenced by the predominant sound of the Leipzig techno scene. Especially the infamous Institut fuer Zukunft and its hypnotic and dissociative sound significantly formed his distinctive style and quickly paved his way into the local scene.

In 2017 Kontinum co-founded the project @nebulakollektiv and, after organising their first raves, the collective quickly found its way into Leipzig's club scene and managed to establish its own event series at Institut fuer Zukunft.

In addition to managing most of Nebula's musical affairs, Kontinum continues to steadily enhance his own remarkable sound which can already be listened to on his releases on labels such as Circular Limited, Lowless and Agos.

It's been well over two years since the last chapter in the tome of Ntogn. 'Sathurnus' saw the destruction of his former world and time has since then laid the foundation for something new. 'Utopia' offers a challenge for new and old listeners alike as darker rhythmical expressions now morph into something more cinematic; introducing melodies, instruments, singing and elaborate arrangements to guide the listener through psychedelic terrain.

The EP is composed out of a new-found passion for modular synthesis which lies at the core of each track together with the usual experimental usage of field recordings and the artist's voice as source for a wide range of elements. It's a story as well as creative excursions where Michel shares intimate moments intertwined with wild sound sculpting ideas; all shaped into small stories of fiction and magic that hopefully takes the listener on a trip.

Ntogn [en'togg-n] is a conceptual electro-acoustic project developed by @Hypnus Records' founder and sound design graduate Michel (b. 1988, Sweden). It aims to breath life into a fascination for magic with the use of contemporary and classic sound design techniques. This has resulted in what Resident Advisor's William Lynch describes as 'fierce, artistic techno that sounds like little else out there' and a discography ranging from earth-shattering techno to dark, throbbing ambient excursions.

After spending nearly three years in isolation, deeply lost in literature on history, philosophy, occultism and epic fairy-tales; Michel developed an inner world which eventually found an outlet through the means of music in 2013. By the use of field recordings and various samplings of his voice and surroundings, something peculiar sprouted as his inner images started to manifest and mature into an organic sound inspired by the emerging hypnotic deep techno scene.

Today, all music is released on his own imprint Tome in order to preserve the projects' artistic freedom and originality. After two years of sound design studies at the university and a new-found passion for modular synthesis; there's plenty of music in store aimed to satiate and corrupt the curious minds with his coming EP scheduled to be released after the summer this year.

Until then, the uncompromising sound of Ntogn can be witnessed at clubs and festivals around the world with the debut of his first live set, including collaborative performances alongside close friend and fellow Hypnus adept Birds ov Paradise.

Following up on Luke Hess' brilliant 12" from last year, Supercinema is now back with another stellar release, from sleeve to groove wrapped with passion and emotions.
 
French native Martin Respaut aka Foreign Material joins the Supercinema family for the labels third outing, a four-track strong EP, full of dreamy polyrhythms, mesmerizing and colorful sounds that will put any dancefloor into a trance.

To complete this release the label invited Crossing Avenue, one of the central projects on Donato Dozzy and Neel's Spazio Disponibile label. The duo is known for its subterranean ambiance in their productions which perfectly reflects on their interpretation here.

Victor Zala is back with his new ep. Opening with the ep theme title "Eleusis", a dark hypnotic techno break anthem under the influence of modular synthesis and deep droney ambient atmospheres. The storytelling of Victor Zala ends with the lush sine bassline vibes, wisely chosen percussions and partly released acid lines of "Saronic" a 4/4 addictive and pumpy energy ambient techno track which tickles the ears with its production.
