Informa Experiments is a new series from Informa Records, the aim is to use new methods and ideas to spark creativity and push forward the ever evolving sound of electronic music. 

IREXP001 is a special collaborative project by Deepbass, Ness, Jeroen Search and NX1. 

The idea was to work together on a 4 way collaboration, each artist put a selection of sounds into a folder then from that folder of sounds each artist would create an individual piece of music. 

The release will go out as a limited 12” only.

Up in the icy north, were the population is so small that the people that the musicians you really click with are bound to come from somewhere else musically, 3 musical brothers (Lárus, Patås, Kim Dürbeck) set out to create a platform for their creative outlet, a club-focused label devoid of genre-catering and specific sound manufacturing, a label that clings solely to the spirit pf playfulness. 

To get things going theyve curated a digital-only V/A with a broad range of likeminded playful producers delivering anything from sunrisey trance-tracks, footworked jungle journeys, polyrhytmic breaks, to spa acid. 

Einerlei brings a full-on hyperfunctional trancey techno pounder to the comp. A track that will keep the feet stamping, hips grooving, and minds in suspense with the haunting melody that runs through the track like a holy ghost.

This season, synonymous with life and renewal, is the perfect time to launch this new opus in the ACCENTVA series, a deliberately eclectic and inclusive review of current developments on the electronic music scene. With a more generous format than ever before, it makes room for both well-known label producers and pioneering artists whose work criss-crosses the world with their unique and immediately identifiable sound. Nearly thirty artists have responded to the invitation and are brought together here to give us a glimpse into the prism of contemporary musical creation. Nor are there any presupposed and therefore definitive barriers of genre or style, On the contrary, the contours here are intended to be voluntarily porous and slippery, each track being interconnected with another, or at least echoing what we might call the zeitgeist.
