Field Records is to release a two-CD compilation and three vinyl samplers of music from the label's artists old and new entitled simply, Collection.

This second sampler pulls together three tracks of deep, dubby and ambient music from French producer duo Polar Inertia, Remote_ and Sweden's Varg. His track 'Ohns Odegard' is a serene and autumnal bit of ambient with swollen pads and incidental synths making for a soothing atmosphere. Remote_'s 'Echo Of You' is just as wide open and serene but has a warm, rubbery pulse driving it along and finally Polar Inertia gets a little frazzled and intense with their loopy slow techno roller 'Sonic Outlaws'.

The first of three samplers features Acronym, Ben Buitendijk and Voiski. Acronym's track '16 Cygni' is a sci-fi bit of techno that is speedy, slick and intergalactic, whilst Ben Buitendijk offers up some Millsian, streamlined techno urgency with his 'Colourblind' and finally Voiski gets all elastic and industrial tinged with his whip lashing effort.

Without Words opens in a haze of filtered pads and distant whispers, the pulse only hinted at by a muted kick. Piano arpeggios drift in with long, airy delays, joined by a soft pluck lead whose low‑pass filter slowly opens, revealing harmonic detail.
The first lift blooms with a full kick and rolling bass groove, strings swelling in the background and breathing with the rhythm. In the break, the mix strips back to pads, whispers, and a single pluck motif, the reverb space expanding like a cathedral.
The second lift reintroduces the full groove with added percussion layers—rides and shakers—while the harmonic progression subtly shifts for emotional lift. The outro gradually releases each element, leaving only pads and fading whispers, dissolving into silence.

Mixed in Dolby Atmos, the track surrounds the listener with immersive depth, carrying them through a wordless narrative where movement and feeling speak louder than language.
