Our No. 222 today comes from an artist who has been accompanying me musically more or less continuously for about 2 years. To overhear him is basically pretty really hard. Not only because of his high output and commitment, but especially because of the high quality that can be found in all his mixes. So is the case with ours.

We are talking about kośa who also runs the well-known label Kosa which preferably stands for experimental downtempo that can be classified somewhere between world music and slow deep house. As a solo artist Tarun is very successful on the road. Among other things, he has played at the well-known Berlin club Kater Blau several times.

His recorded mix begins like an ode to the Bronx of the 80s when hip hop played with oriental music elements. As the tape progresses, it becomes deeper and more driving, without losing its slow character. In the process, he reveals a wide range of subgenres...Towards the end, Tarun returns to the starting point, skillfully closing the circle. In his set, he provides equal amounts of release and tension. A perfect formula for an easy-going, danceable afterhour. Fasten your seatbelts...

Unsere Nr. 222 kommt heute von einem Künstler, der mich seit ungefähr 2 Jahren mehr oder weniger ununterbrochen musikalisch begleitet. Ihn zu überhören ist im Grund ziemlich wirklich schwer. Nicht nur auf Grund seines hohen Outputs und Engagement, sondern vor allem wegen der hohen Qualität, die sich in all seinen Mixen wiederfindet. So auch bei unserem. 

Die Rede ist von kośa der zudem das bekannte Label Kosa betreibt welches vorzugsweise für experimentellen Downtempo steht, der sich irgendwo zwischen Worldmusic und slowen Deep House einordnen lässt. Als Solokünstler ist Tarun überaus erfolgreich unterwegs. So bespielete er unter anderem den bekannten Berliner Club Kater Blau bereits mehrere Male.

Sein eingespielter Mix beginnt wie eine Ode an die Bronx der 80er als der Hip Hop mit orientalischen Musikelementen spielte. Im weiteren Verlauf wird das Tape immer deeper und treibender, ohne seinen slowen Charakter zur verlieren. Dabei offenbart er eine große Bandbreite von Untergenren…Gegen Ende kehrt Tarun wieder zum  Ausgangspunkt zurück und schließt somit gekonnt den Kreis. So begann eine wunderbare Freundschaft, welche zum Ziel hat, das wir gemeinsam den Sommer mit euch verbringen und unsere Liebe zur Musik teilen und verbreiten .. also, kommt an Bord und teilt Musik und Liebe auf dem »Oberdeck der Liebe« mit uns ...

Den Anfang macht der allseits beliebte und bekannte https://soundcloud.com/edu_buscholl mit seinem »Epic Love Waves Mix« und bringt euch hoffentlich stimmungsvoll in Schwung. Sein Bruder und weitere Freunde des Kollektivs werden ihm nachfolgen und gemeinsam gestalten wir das Deck ... während eines Landgangs unterhielten wir uns beide über den Verein und ihn selbst; ich kann nur sagen: ein sehr sympathischer junger Mann.

»Ich bin mittlerweile seit 4 Jahren am Auflegen und konnte mich stilistisch immer noch nicht auf ein Genre alleine einlassen. Von Deephouse, Techhouse, Dub Techno, Minimal bis hin zu treibendem Techno und Progressive House ist eigentlich alles in meinem Repertroir vorhanden. Es muss nur sphärisch sein und technoid angehaucht um mein Herz zu erobern.«

Die gemeinsame Reise beim Seasidetrip anzutreten bereitet uns besondere Freude, wegen der Liebe zum Meer und zur See im allgemeinen. - Viele unsere gemeinsamen Erlebnisse sind mit dem Strand verbunden oder mit "Luftmatratzen Inseln" die solange auf dem Wasser treiben bis das Dosenbier alle ist. Auch unser jährliches "Camp´n´Rave" Wochenende, findet immer an einem See statt da es ein traumhaftes Gefühl ist unter einem Sternenhimmel der sich auf dem Wasser spiegelt und einem lodernden Lagerfeuer zu elektronischer Musik zu tanzen.

Ohne Frage war es uns auch ein großes Anliegen Crew-Mitglieder beim Seasidetrip zu werden, weil du als Käpt'n so ein sympathischer Typ bist und deine Leidenschaft zur Sache genau jenes Attribut ist, dass auch wir uns selbst zuschreiben.

SOOOOO und nach solch vielen Worten dürft IHR endlich das MIXSET hören, lieben, teilen ... :)

This talented producer comes from Turkey and has become essential on the Deep music scene. In this new Natural Deep you will find his remix of "One Day In Tibet" by Audiotones & Adrien (RO) (43 min) and "Inborn" released on Songspire Records (2h18min). Spotlight on: Erdi Irmak.


Biography:

Cross-cultural sounds and influences are the calling cards of the Erdi Irmak protfolio. Born in the hubbub of cosmopolitan Istanbul where Asia meets Europe across the vast Bosphorous River, Irmak's rise to the higher echelons of the musical elite is as rapid as it is impressive.

Thoroughly immersed in the sounds of his Turkish homeland from an early age, a combination of "chilled out west and far east sounds" became the fundamental tenets of a musical ideology that has brought success across a wide spectrum of labels and genres. Proficient in deep, tech and progressive house, a further foray into electronica and techno has seen the development of a prolific talent.

Mastering set for this Ego is always kinda tricky trip.
Normally we tune on ethnic base and turn into a mountain ash for getting stuck in the eagle's teeth. It has to be strog, we'll have such a long trip.We fly to look after lamas and listen to the Andes.
 Moving to the dark Quito district under melodic Cumbia. Restoring in Madeira under the gentle motif of the Portuguese divas. We are bathh attendants in a hammam in the Turkish quarter of Topkapi, clapping for antique beats. Drinking warm tea under the hot sun of Tehran. Dancing with gypsy children in suburbs of Bucharest under dexterous folk.Oyeeeeee. 
You could be everywhere with your favorite melodies and travelling abroad with your music.
