DeepBeat is more than happy to present the first edition of this amazing album, the DeeBeat Collection is a blend that goes from Disco to Techno. After a lot of great releases we decided to put together some songs from our best artists in only one album, mixing all the tastes and keeping the good music that is approved by our concept. This album is composed by the latest of our Artists best productions, with House music from a bunch different sources Beerlover bring to us Nu Disco / Indie Dance with a touch of French House, Rafael Cancian bring the best of the Soulful music with rich melodies and a lot of groove, happily we also have a very classy Jazzy Disco made by our Japanese Producer and Pianist Osamu Fukuzawa. If wanna listen to real 90's House Music you need to listen to what Fabro gave to us for this album, with vibrant pads and chords creating atmosphere while the bass and drums drives you all over the song, Fabro wanted to bring back the Warehouse good times. Gui Pimentel brings Deep House at it's best, musically charming and elegant while the bass doesn't stop grooving this song is definitely gonna keep you moving! On his second release at DeepBeat Roger Sisto made a classy Techno House with heavy bass and serious dark atmosphere with deep chords that Techno lovers just can't resist and keeping the same feel LBNET and Rafael Paste made this collaboration that is an amazing blend between Techno and Nu Disco that could't be more interesting.

My last (for now) live radio show on <a href="http://gsrs24.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">GrooveSkool Radio</a>, and I had the pleasure of hosting a guest mix from Sao Paulo, Brasil based <a href="https://soundcloud.com/gui_pimentel" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">dj Gui Pimentel</a>. &#13;

Gui was born in São Paulo/ Brasil in 1972. He “djs “ since 1990. It was in 1993 though that he discovered his passion for house music .That was the year he first went to Ibiza and listened to DJ’s  from all over the world playing a house music full of references and rhythms without tying themselves to any particular genre. Since then, Gui has been crafting his eclectic house style that made him a constant presence in many of Brazil’s main Clubs, Events, Festivals and Private Parties.&#13;

Gui’s sets can also been caught @ 97,7 FM on his homeland of São Paulo (www.97fm.com.br -every Monday/ 22:00hs ) or @ his exclusive podcast – DJ Gui Pimentel House Podcast – that can be found in the Itunes Store. There, Gui publishes a mix every month to a broad subscriber base.&#13;

Since 2008, Gui started producing some bootlegs, edits and tracks on his own and along side DJ and Producer Buga. More recently, Gui has teamed up with Deep Beat Records to launch most of his material.&#13;

“ I try to be eclectic in my sets and productions, I play basically house music without tying myself to any specific genre or style. I try to be guided by the people on the dance floor and create a happy, positive atmosphere, because in the end it’s all about having fun “.&#13;

Rounding up a year which saw crucial releases from Iron Curtis and Quarion, »Can’t Help It« is the long awaited return of sample wizards Session Victim to the ep format. This Retreat 3-tracker is a profound, subtle and quite melancholic affair, perfect for those emotional moments in the early morning. Skillfully arranged and featuring the impeccable playing of Linnart Ebel, »Can’t Help It« is once again an essential statement from one of House Music’s most fascinating duo.
»Pass The Diesel« begins with a stuttering beat, seagull like noises and muted chords that wouldn’t be out of place on a vintage Group Home instrumental. Staying on the aquatic tip, Session Victim introduce a beautiful Rhodes sequence which takes the track into a dream-like – dare we say californian? – direction. Spiced up with gentle synth noodlings, ethereal vocal snippets and a magical strings motive, »Pass The Diesel« bathes in the deeper shades of House without ever drowning in a cliché, thanks to its snapping drums and vivid arrangement.
Slowing things down a notch, »Hyuwee« starts off with what is maybe the most unconventional instrument in Session Victim’s repertoire, the banjo! But the fear of witnessing these down-to-earth-boys actually becoming the boys-down-south vanishes after 30 seconds: a melancholic 3-Chord theme, snappy 808 patterns and funky drum fills lead the tune in a familiar (but vast) territory. Linnart Ebel’s talent is put to great use with subtle guitar licks that give a lively feel to the whole song. You will notice that Session Victim have labeled »Hyuwee« as an »instrumental«. Does it mean that we can expect a vocal version in the near future? All bets are on as to who will provide the vocals to this one …
Flip the record over for the magnificent »Tearwiper«, a slow-house groover which might be Session Victim’s deepest excursion on wax so far. Abyssal chords, radio effects and a dragging 105 bpm beat set the stage for a grand sonic adventure. The track breaks down after the introduction of the guitar theme and a warm sub bass takes center stage in order to drive »Tearwiper« in a confident manner. Shakers and bubbling synths are floating around whereas Linnart’s hypnotic playing provides a steady backing to the bassline. Another breakdown and the elements are nicely washed away while a thoughtful guitar solo brings this underwater journey to an end.

Taken from their highly acclaimed album Radio Retaliation which was originally released on their label ESL, El Pueblo Unido gets the remix treatment courtesy of Miguel Migs who delivers some creatively thoughtful reinterpretations of the song.

With plenty of live instrumentation including a healthy dose of layered percussion and a smooth horn riff, warm synth chords and deep bouncing basslines are all showcased here along with cut-up and dubbed out vocal snippets for a balance of depth and dimension.
