give "qiyamah" its first ten seconds and it'll have you snared for the duration of its ten-minute span, being, as it is, utterly beautiful and compelling to the point of hypnoticism.
coming on like a cross between aphex twin in his more serene, contemplative moments and those summer nights when time's march just seems to stop, the track is the centre-piece of d'eon's fantastic album palinopsia.
