Through darkness, destiny is carved in stone
Yet man has been given the fragile gift of free will,
And for a fleeting breath, he believes he can rewrite what already awaits him.
Lives cross upon the thin thread allowed by time.

Connections are formed, bonds are forged in fire or in silence.
But neither time nor life belongs to us;

Lives are taken, even when we fight against the current.
And when the future is poisoned by worms that feed on deceit,

Returning to chaos to demand its due.

NASA’s Juno spacecraft has observed plasma wave signals from Jupiter’s ionosphere. This display is a frequency-time spectrogram. The results in this figure show an increasing plasma density as Juno descended into Jupiter’s ionosphere during its close pass by Jupiter on February 2, 2017.  

The intensity, or amplitude, of the waves is displayed based on the color scale shown on the right. The actual observed frequencies of these emissions approach 150 kHz, which is above the human hearing range. To bring these signals into the human audio range, the playback speed has been slowed by a factor of about 60. The momentary, nearly pure tones follow a scale related to the electron density, and are likely associated with an interaction between the Juno spacecraft and the charged particles in Jupiter’s ionosphere. The exact source of these discrete tones is currently being investigated.

Welcome to the 63th Ambient Sessions presented by Deep Electronics.
This monthly released podcast brings you the best and the most diversity Ambient music can offer.
It's the first sunday of December and the last Ambient Sessions for 2019 and that means a brand new session!
This months set is a reprise of a set that I released back in the day in 2013. Originally it was released by The Watcher himself but later on also  by DEP. It deserves a proper place in the Ambient Sessions to get listened again. Icesolationism, ice cold ambient with a deep intens and sometimes dark twists makes this set unique.

The planned artist for december had to postprone the mix to a later date due personal issues. Keep you all posted on that.

Bio:

Stumbling upon an LTJ Bukem mix cd as a teenager, a love for drum ?n bass manifested itself early in Watcher (Arjan van Vliet). After showing much promise as a humble bedroom dj, he set out to make club and radio appearances all over Holland alongside some of the scene?s biggest names, establishing himself as a sought-after opening dj and earning him a Dutch Drum ?n Bass Award nomination in 2007.

Yann Novak is a queer interdisciplinary artist and composer based in Los Angeles. His work is guided by his interests in perception, context, movement, and the felt presence of direct experience. Through the use of sound and light, Novak explores how these intangible materials can act as catalysts to focus our awareness on our present location in space and time. Novak’s diverse body of works—audiovisual installations, performances, sound diffusions, recording, and prints—ask participants to reclaim the present moment as a political act. His work has been experienced through exhibitions and performance at AB Salon, Brussels; The Broad, Los Angeles; Commonwealth & Council, Los Angeles; de Young Museum, San Francisco; Fylkingen, Stockholm; Human Resources, Los Angeles; Iklectik, London; Institute of Modern Art, Brisbane; Mutek Festival, Montreal; and The Stone, New York, among others. His recorded sound works have been released by 901 Editions, Dragon’s Eye Recordings, LINE, Room40, and Touch, among others. Novak’s work has been the subject of articles and reviews in publications including C Magazine, Drain Magazine, Inside Art, LA Weekly, Los Angeles Times, Neural Magazine, Signal to Noise, The Stranger, and The Wire, among others.

New show by Giraffe Tapes is kicking in on Mutant Radio! In the first episode the guest is Hidekazu Imashige, aka Gallery Six, an artist and composer who is based in Miyoshi Hiroshima, Japan. His new album called "The Waves Wiped Memory Away" was released on "Giraffe Tapes" label. Gallery Six has been making sound sketches, mixing drone sounds mainly created from synthesizer and materials field-recorded when he goes wherever his heart leads.
