As we enter the midsummer-solstice season, I wanted to share this recording from a glorious sunny morning last year, now archived on Deep Mind Music ☀️

This is the set I played 8-10AM on Sunday at @comebyefestival in Wales for @umbilicalchords, in their cosy fuchsia~draped ambient dome.

Playing ambient in the early hours of a festival is always really special for me, as everyone’s minds are open and unwound, the gentle caress of nature is all around, and it feels the best backdrop for swirling into imaginal worlds 🌿

Hope you enjoy this wistful meander through tall breezy grasses, golden sunshine, and drifting clouds ~ a mix for daydreaming, nature-wandering, tea-drinking, sunbathing 🧡🌞🌾

About:
Inhmost aka Simon Huxtable ( Aural Imbalance) has been writing and creating atmospheric music since 1997, creating deep emotive tracks across many electronic music genres including drum & bass and spacey house / progressive. 

But Inhmost is his project to create meditative ambient music. Having the experience to create atmosphere in his DnB music and his progressive background, his ambient brings it to the next level.

This mixtape contains his released music but also upcoming tracks and inspiring music aswell from artists around the globe.

"For Cenote I composed a live environment that is a synthesis of sound spaces I've travelled through and recorded over the last few years. Born of rhythm, my music is also made up of ethereal, sometimes generative, sound spaces. Long-time resident of The Labyrinth (Japan, @mindgameslaby), Hiyoshi’s vivid, contemplative ambient mixes draw together musical elements from a diversity of sources, yet retain a rare purity of emotion and atmosphere.

With Patterns of Perception 33 Hiyoshi aims to capture the essence of his most affecting sets of the past year, including at Sound Garden, Labyrinth, and One party, while also paying respect to friends and artists who’ve mentored and supported him.

The result is a lucid, ethereal selection, a dance in the diffuse sunlight, on the surface of the lake, always hinting at the depths below.
