For his debut release on Exploited „Step in my direction” he got support by Duke Dumont, Pete Tong, Maxxi Soundsystem, Tensnake, Karotte, Mirror People, The Rapture, Till Von Sein and many more so we’re happy to say that one of our favorite Australians is back on the label! 

With the title track „Only 1” he brings back his soul inspired house sound that brings all of us in this incredibly good mood.. And it does not stop there, Andrea Viti K’s strong and original vocals make the track complete in its lightheartedness. 
To make it even better Jad provided us with a special synth dub that will definitely make some dance floors explode instantly.

„Daddy’s groove” has just that little pinch of right drama without losing Jad’s typical sound as he finishes the track with some funky synths.
We perfectly imagine ourself riding a horse into the sunset on one of those magnificent Australian beaches while listening to this track. 

This EP screams summertime and we foresee big things for Jad. So keep an eye on him.

Over the last six years, https://soundcloud.com/homepark have slowly but surely built up a classy discography that takes in smooth and seductive deep house that has real drive. It has come on labels like Ornate Music and Chez Damier’s Courtesy Of Balance Recordings, and always marries a classic sense of house history with fresh new perspectives for both head and heel. 

This latest EP kicks off with ‘RFMS,’ an immediately atmospheric track with shakers, rubbery drums and smeared synths all making for a fulsome groove. Some choice vocals help elevate things to a higher level and the whole thing exudes real warmth as it effortlessly glides along.

When asked by my good friends at Iboga if i wanted to make a compilation aiming at the slower, more downbeat side of the music spectrum, of course I immediately said yes.
So much great downbeat music has emerged over the past 2-3 years, and the scene has been growing rapidly, with many sub-genres seeing the light of day.
My thoughts about the selection of tracks was that they should be deep, moody, trippy, well produced ,and layered with tribalistic rhythm patterns. And a sexy bassline wouldn't hurt either!
So I started to get in contact with friends and some of my favourite producers in the genre, and slowly but surely, a story was starting to unfold...a sonic horizon, filled with music dear to my heart. Enjoy!

The international duo KMLN unites the Italian producer and multi-instrumentalist Christopher Tooker with Canadian producer Shawna Hofmann. Their paths crossed eight years ago. Since then, they have been an integral part of the global deep-eclectic-house movement. Together with the mexican musician Roderic, they are creating an interplay of yesterday's sounds and tomorrow's sounds combined with deep, rare rhythms and the typical cosmic note. Roderic's music is hard to categorize, you can find him e.g. in jazz, blues, latin and trance too. The EP ‘Aurora’ is supported by remixes by Luca Musto, Holger Hecler and The Invisible People.

Das internationale Duo, KMLN vereint den italienischen Produzenten und multi-instrumentalist Christopher Tooker mit der kanadischen Produzentin Shawna Hofmann.
