Jack Haigh, better known as The Greys, is a Dubstep Producer and DJ based in the UK in Birmingham. He has been pushing original bass music while concentrating on well mixed in key music with the love of a good blend. 

In the past, his productions have been supported by the likes of Ganja White Night, N-Type, Pinch, Benga and more, as well as getting airplay on Radio 1, Rinse FM and Kiss FM. 

First getting on his feet DJing for the singer Belle Humble in 2012, who sang the the hit anthem "Cracks", it would launch him into the world of 140 and inspire the sound we hear from The Greys today.

Over the past few years, he has been focusing on his own projects, touring all over Europe and the USA and sharing the stage with artists like Mala, Kaiju, Skrillex, and more! With each new release, The Greys continue to push the boundaries of what's possible in music. The dedication to his craft is an inspiration and we can expect even greater things from him in the future!

Drawing deep influence from the gritty sound of the UK underground scene comes Breathworkz, a US based dubstep producer whose music fuses bassline-heavy beats with immersive soundscapes; creating an experience that gets listeners moving on the dancefloor. In just the past year, Breathworkz has seen remarkable success with two tracks reaching the Beatport Top 3, including his DDDLPX tune “Hydra” reaching number one on Deep Dubstep charts. Breathworkz’s music has garnered support from some of the most respected names in the scene, who’ve been playing out his tracks at festivals and events worldwide. Welcome to Hydra Radio, a multi-genre mix series showcasing Hydra artists and special guests! Volume XXIX features our friend and one of our favorite dubstep dealers -  Substance.  With many upcoming releases in the works and start of his 2025 North American touring, we're pumped to get the time with Marc to be able to showcase this mix.  Big ups to sharing a Gunfingaz Thursday with this release!  This mix shows a ton of original IDs, make sure you leave a comment and follow Substance to show him support - we know you'll like this mix as much as we did!  

Substance is a dubstep producer based in Sherbrooke, QC, Canada. His journey began in 2011 after discovering PK Sound and the vibrant West Coast Canadian rave scene. By 2012, he started promoting events with friends underthe DirtyCake brand, bringing major dubstep acts like Truth, Goth Trad, and Hatcha to his hometown. These efforts helped build a dedicated bass music community and provided platforms for rising artists like Wraz.

After a decade of promoting shows and working at festivals across Canada, Substance shifted focus to his own productions. He quickly gained recognition, earning releases on renowned labels such as Sentry Records, Deep Dark & Dangerous, Wheel & Deal, and Nomine Sound. Expanding his repertoire, Substance has also dropped tracks on Boogie T’s Drama Club Recording and has forthcoming releases on J:Kenzo’s Artikal Records. Collaborations with artists like Antennae and Abstrakt Sonance further showcase his range and ability to cross genres within bass music.

In addition to producing, Substance co-hosts Gunfingaz Thursday with Wraz, a popular Twitch stream that has become a go-to platform for highlighting emerging DJs and producers in the North American dubstep scene.

His live performances have graced some of the continent’s top festivals, including Shambhala Music Festival, Bass Coast, Infrasound, and Lightning in a Bottle. These
appearances, combined with consistentreleases and community involvement, cement his reputation as a dynamic force in bass music.

With an exciting 2025 on the horizon, Substance continues to push boundaries, blending styles and elevating the global dubstep scene.
