TRUTH has always lived and breathed music that is deeper, darker and dangerouser but we could never have dreamed of where the imprint is at now, through pure passion for and dedication to sound system culture.

What started as monthly Monday night in a 100 person capacity San Francisco basement in 2012, leading to our first release in November 2014 - Deep, Dark & Dangerous takes huge pride in representing the best of dubstep, 140 and bass music in a catalogue approaching 140 releases.

This celebration compilation of DDD’s first decade as an imprint is all about looking forward. 

Through an epic double album of original tracks, this is the cream of the crop - featuring our favourite big hitters and some of the hottest young talent in the underground. 

Decade showcases the best of where we’re at but also what the future holds for the scene we call home.

It has been an unreal year for Deep, Dark & Dangerous, featuring a host of landmark releases including Decade, celebrating 10 years of what DDD stands for. 

So, true to form the label is dropping a cohort of insane remixes for 4/20. 

Featuring some of the big hitters and freshest talent from the DDD roster, including Ternion Sound, TRUTH, Hypho, DMVU, Distinct Motive, Chef Boyarbeatz and Wraz., remixed by Combine, The Greys, Canvas, Medicine Place and Dayzero, to name a few.

DDD feels blessed to drop such an array of crate artillery on this most auspicious of days.

7Kidz joins the Dread Or Dead ranks with a four-track release that explores the darker edges of dubstep. Each piece blends eerie atmospheres with tight drum work, touched with subtle dub percussion and warm, rounded bass that moves with weight and clarity.

Jah-Tek presents track four, as Tinky takes on the title track ‘Gengar’, flipping it into a heavier, LFO-driven cut that closes the EP with low-end authority and metallic bite.
