Subs are set to get severely flexed as ENiGMA Dubz and Pushloop join forces for their ‘From the Depths’ EP on DDD. Lead figures of the global 140 dubstep scene in their own right - the pair have long admired each others’ bass-heavy sounds, and now is the time to rise together from the depths of the underground to collectively punish any system in their path. From the deep, sexy rhythms of mother earth to the modern sounds of global house culture, Zephrÿm’s musical creativity has been captivating ear drums and warming souls for over 25 years. A veteran in the Calgary electronic music community, he emerged into the scene originally as J-Byrd - The Funky House Technician, then evolving into the powerhouse performance collective, Bass Caravan (Le Cirque de la Nuit) and now finding his inner calling as Zephrÿm.

Although his styles may have changed over the years, the one thing that’s stood the test of time has been his brilliant musical sensibility. From his world-renowned Moon Muse series alongside astrologer Amaris, to his global house Elementos sets, Zephrÿm weaves sounds, textures and lyrics into carefully curated auditory experiences.

From the underground of State College, PA, Zanzagar channels sound as a force for connection, catharsis, and collective memory. A resident of The 8 Ball, a long-running DIY venue and cultural outpost, he blends bass-heavy experimentalism with soulful depth, drawing from the living flow of Vedic philosophy and devotional practice, weaving far-flung sonic artifacts from dubstep, grime, and ambient textures into a transcendent whole.

Each set unfolds like a living landscape: fluid, textured, and breathing. Zanzagar sculpts sound that awakens the quiet pulses of matter and spirit, tending to the spaces that interweave bodies, emotions, and frequencies. Whether behind decks or building community spaces, he moves with intention: to cultivate and nurture space for truth, release, and shared presence.
