The acclaimed duo known simply as Shades (Alix Perez and Eprom) are proud to share their newest single in “Dark Wing,” set to drop on June 3rd. This is the first single off of their upcoming album, From a Vein— slated for a late-summer release on Perez’s acclaimed 1985 Music imprint. The forthcoming 14-track LP marks the pair’s first full-length album since In Praise Of Darkness, released on Deadbeats in 2018.

Limbo... A unique place that indicates a state of being forgotten, an imaginary location for lost or neglected things and a special type of stasis for dubs. A limbo life between the realms of WIP and general release where only a select few DJs have access and can whip up crowds with it. A limbo life that’s riddled with blown minds, ID requests and total exclusivity.

A limbo life that’s reality for a select few but aspiring for the rest of us...until now. As Caspa drops five very special tracks that have all existed in that imaginary location over the last few years: ‘Dubs In Limbo’ Marking the start of a new slew of dispatches from the Ghost Town bossman, ‘Dubs In Limbo’ is a unique, full spectrum release that reflects every shade and style of the dubstep pioneer. One of his most diverse and varied EPs in many years, each of the five tracks has a special reason for being prior to their life in limbo.

Our favourite Berlin-based bass butcher Bukez Finezt is back on the label, and this time he’s cut up beats so rotten they’re gonna putrefy your very existence.

Across three gnarly Putrefied Soul riddims, the German’s genome shaking production prowess is bordering on clinical insanity. 

Tortured genius or certified madman? We’ll let you decide. 

The eponymous opener stays true to Bukez’ heritage, with ice cold metallic textures and system shattering bass - before a techno breakdown that wouldn’t be out of place at the Berghain’s most debauched raves. Mala’s been rinsing this one. 

Who Da Buckezt takes things in an all the more urban direction, with faux gangsta swag, nasty putrid beats and savage satanic synths. 

EP closer Bussin might be the nastiest of the lot, as discordant, disorientating swells, swoon and gloom, gorging on misery and discombobulation before glitchy breakbeats finally drag you down to the pits of hell.

Taking inspiration in equal parts from Stranger Things as Dungeon and Dragons, the three producers piece together a body of tracks set to send their enemies to the abyss, and beyond - showcasing phenomenal technical prowess, sound design and a complete disregard for common decency.

Washing over you like a spell of satanic sorcery - the EP is cohesive in its manipulation of your very senses, disorientating, wonky, woozy and damn right nasty. 

The beats cut through like excalibur being brandished by a futuristic knight from a hostile alternate dimension - while the low frequencies flex subs like they are black holes enveloping the rave and all in attendance.

Next up on DDD we have the full label debut from hotly tipped Maryland-based sub frequency merchant, Athena. Making waves in the underground scene and US festival circuit, the super talented producer comes out swinging with this two track monster. 

First up Nine Circles leaves you gasping for air as it drags you down to the abyss with its sonic depth, crackling textures and slapping percussion - then Vantablack takes you fully to oblivion, with bass pressure so intense it could cause a tsunami.

We dread to inform you that we welcome Die by the Sword back on DDD, this time for his debut full release on the label. 

Dread being the operative word, as with Black Mass / Hell - DBTS has cooked up a two tracker so sinister, it makes a brain aneurysm seem like a birthday present.
