Truth returns with their second in a series of 3 EPs on DDD in 2022. "Afterlife" picks up where "Twinkle Toad" left off, diving deep with the title track. 'Afterlife' is soulful, smooth and warm. The drop led by a simple Bass guitar hook and ethereal filtered vocal.

The rest of the EP follows on July 15th, marking the 95th EP release on Deep, Dark & Dangerous! 'Scarecrow' is a mixture of dark and light. Vibey melodic intro paired with a distorted, arpeggiated bass drop. 'Shire Dub' transports you straight back to Middle Earth where TRUTH originates. Flutes, strings, guitar and chanting in the intro devolve into something much more sinister and ominous. The drop itself is a straight stepper, no prisoners taken. Finally the EP rounds out with 'Lost In Time'. which is a track that could have come straight off TRUTH's 'Acceptance' LP. A catchy, hypnotic vocal loop over a deep rhythmical 808.

With Inner Loops, they present a dynamic eurythmic conceptual tour-de-force across four energetically and emphatically executed tracks, with conceptual essence dripping from every pore.

This theme is apparent from the outset as Temptations provides an introspective maelstrom, straddling the reflective with the outright outrageous assault of the senses that will send raves into shockdown. 

Transitioning to Seconds Lost where techno and acid rave essences are scattered within a derelict landscape of sonic scarcity, before the drop slaps the listener senseless - with this techno inspired aesthetic carrying over to the gargantuan Exponential. 

EP closer is a more choppy and technical affair, with complex vocal cuts and hi-hat patterns matched by an ice cold metallic snare clap and trance-like synths.

What happened in our home town, Christchurch, New Zealand last week was horrible. There is no place for terror or hate anywhere on our beautiful planet. 

We are releasing this track “tears” with the amazing Lelijveld on vocals. All proceeds will go to the families of the victims of the events on 15th March 2019. 

We are sharing this with compassion and love for the families, victims and all our fellow human beings. Peace and love.
