Morning High ushers in a new era for Dank ‘n’ Dirty with a three-track 140 EP featuring DJ Variant. The Denver-based producer returns to the label for his debut solo release after providing serious heat for the yearly 420 compilation series.  The EP also welcomes DJ Variant to the Dank ‘n’ Dirty Dubz roster, marking his debut release on the label. 

Morning High gets straight to the point with ‘Systems’, a no-nonsense wobbler rolling around in classic dubstep textures. Then DJ Variant steps up to collaborate on ‘Melfina’, creating a forest of luscious pads and stomping basslines guided by enigmatic female vocals. Finally Morning High steps off the forest path and heads deeper into the wilderness with ‘Chakka’, where zithers, metallic distortions and murky synth voices dance over twisting sub bass.

Throughout 2022, Dank ‘n’ Dirty Dubz are celebrating 12-years of releasing soundsystem music with a brand-new look, revamped logo and a monthly drop schedule totalling 12 new releases this year. The label is excited to welcome back artists who have continually provided great music to the catalogue over the years, as well as create new connections with producers who are making waves in underground dance music worldwide. Dank ‘n’ Dirty Dubz is proud to honour this intent with its first release of the year, a 3-track dubstep EP from American producers Morning High and DJ Variant.

Straight from the streets of Nottingham / Shottingham comes the unmistakable voice of Vandull. The Vandulliza is pulling no punches on 'Scorpius EP', fierce vocals backed by hard beats.

This release is the culmination of the Vandull journey, and is the last piece of work he will ever release. The 4 tracks are each produced by a different beatsmith. "Shhh" features the talents of Hypho, with his signature minimal beats and a catchy flute hook.
"Red Moon" was produced by the uber-talented Angelic Root ."Soulsearch" sees Cartridge upping the tempo to 170bpm with a tough halftime beat. Finally Katch comes correct with a weird and wonky beat on "Dum".
