"As we bid farewell to summer and enter the fall transition, I envisioned making it a little more pleasant for all of us and boost the energy around. The mix includes both fresh gems and timeless favorites of mine. Swirling around melodic techno with indie, groovy but dark, highly energetic punch.  
In fact, not only has weather changed, but so have many other things, including the tone and rhythm of the set. Perhaps one of you is more adaptable to change than the other. Grammik’s (aka Aris Grammenos) involvement with electronic music started almost two decades ago. At 18 years old, Aris began spinning vinyl at local bars and clubs around his native Athens. His first release came out under his real name on No Border Recordings (2008) with numerous followup tracks on Sound Of Everything and Proton Limited.

In 2016 his first EP was released, under his current artist name “Grammik”, on Eyes Of The Owl Recordings with the title “New Tomorrow” , followed up by a remix on the same label. 

Grammik’s breakthrough came in 2020 when he joined the well-respected Steyoyoke Records family. “White Heart”, “Kalopsia”, “Vast Space”, and “Abroad” - his recent collaborative release together with Montreal’s Monarke – have all added to the techno-oriented, yet dreamy and melodic Steyoyoke sound.

He is well known for his built up dj sets that can begin from electronica and finish up to techno.

Grammik: I’m inspired by “everything that can make my mind dream and my heart sing"

Institution 066: Grammik

This mix contains 100% original content, 27 originals, 5 collabs, 9 remixes. There’s 18 released tracks and 23 unreleased tracks, most of which are more or less ideas, unfinished tracks and sections of recordings from my toured live sets over the years that I never planned to release, content that is now perfect in its imperfection. In fact a lot of this content hasn’t finished being mixed or even mastered and is more so being delivered in the form of a live set with lots of extra layers and experimenting. Because of this unique blend of show and tell, there’s a real charm to the whole journey and vibe this mix holds. Some of these tracks, sounds and ideas date back years and some more recent. I feel after putting this mix together and hearing a broad range of my music all in this single progression, I definitely have an interesting sound and I can hear the electronic music palate I’ve built from my history of music inspiration taken from minimal, house, progressive and techno. This mix is like the portfolio to my music and showcases the diversity and fusion of styles I like to create. I am thrilled to be hosting this exclusive original content with Flow Music for my 333 sessions mix. I hope listeners out there enjoy the music in this mix!

music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Throughout my childhood I drifted between instruments and genres. Piano as a child; trombone as a teenager, bass guitar through to uni - all while covering music styles from jazz, funk, disco and progressive rock. However; later in life I realised nothing was as influential as when my Dad purchased of Logic 2 for Mac and a Korg X5 MIDI keyboard in the mid-1990’s - I’d sneak into his “studio” and was fascinated by the idea of being able to play and manipulate the sounds as I please. This was my discovery of my love and passion for electronic music.
Over 20 years later, I’ve spent almost every spare moment refining my passion into a unique and defined sound that takes influence from my past (jazz, funk and progressive rock in particular) and channels it into a unique electronic sound that sits somewhere across the spectrum of disco, deep house, progressive house and melodic house & techno.

Cinematique is proud to present the next release. We welcome back our friends of 10dens for their final EP.

Yes, you've read it right: final EP. Earlier this year the duo unfortunately decided to stop making music as 10dens due to musical differences and the distance between the cities where they live. They've chosen to continue their friendship instead of risking it because of the music and the conflicts it sometimes brought along, something we can only respect. So let's think about all the good memories and wonderful music they've left. It will be followed for sure by new and exciting solo stuff of both Michael and Jurriën.

Having said that, we are honored to bring you this final 10dens release. Although their last full EP was released in the early days of the label, back in 2011, we have always considered them as close members of the Cinematique family. After their well acclaimed EP 'When the Skyline Crumbles' we've had the pleasure to release some loose tracks on Midnight Beats, remixes and especially their beautiful version of CardioWave's 'Dark Room' together with NY Fan. We are sure this final release will be a brilliant addition to their impressive discography and of course we do wish them both all the best with their future productions.

A fan favourite from Anjunadeep 11, 'Overtones' became renowned for its killer breaks and addictive synth riff. Heavily influenced by the sound of classic UK house music, the track has been one of the label standouts of 2020. 

A year on, Anjunadeep presents two stunning remixes from LA's Promnite and Russia’s PROFF. Boasting a back-catalogue of hip-hop and dance, and production credits with the likes of Katy Perry, Lil Yachty, and A-Trak, Promnite demonstrates a further talent for melodic and deep house in his Anjunadeep debut, offering a gripping four-to-the-floor take on the original. 

First heard on Anjunabeats Volume 15, PROFF’s remix is imbued with a classic progressive house flavour, playing the main riff through a punchy drum mix that gives way to an elegant breakdown of strings and arpeggios.

Originally from Sydney, Frost has released on Mau5trap, alongside official remixes for the likes of ZHU and Sofi Tukker. His crisp production illustrates why he has garnered support from industry heavyweights such as Pete Tong.
