Eliza Noble and Jennifer Skillman are Eli & Fur: the British live act, singer-songwriter and producer duo whose career together stretches back for nearly a decade. Having formed a close bond in their teens born out of their unwavering passion for music in all its guises, their careers as DJs, songwriters, vocalists and producers has taken them  around the globe as touring musicians and seen them grace the stages of the biggest festivals in the world including Coachella, Tomorrowland and Glastonbury. 

‘Found In The Wild’ is the pair’s long-awaited studio debut which will be released this summer on seminal electronic imprint and long-time label home Anjunadeep on 25th June. Following BBC Radio 1’s Chillest Record and first LP single ‘Wild Skies’, Eli & Fur now share their second album single, lifted from the ‘In The Wild’ side of the LP, peak time club cut ‘Come Back Around’. 

A dual part album concept, ‘Found in The Wild’ is a sonic presentation of two contrasting and quintessential parts of the unique Eli & Fur sound; two sides of the Eli & Fur which they are finally ready to share with the world, “We wanted to show both sides of us. We are quite varied in the way that we write music and so it made sense to have two parts living side by side. Everything we really love is on the album and we’re super proud of how it’s come together”. 

The first half of the album ‘Found’ is a collection of song-based productions which show Eli & Fur’s strengths as songwriters, vocalists and producers in equal measure. Having begun their careers as songwriters at renowned production house Xenomania writing hits for pop acts like Girls Aloud, Eli & Fur’s talents as songwriters are abundantly clear. 

The second half of the LP ‘In the Wild’ is a change in gear conceptually and ventures into the more upbeat, clubbier side of the project - these tracks explore the girls’ penchant for emotive productions geared for the dancefloor which find the sweet spot between the dark and the emotive, marrying evocative vocals written around their own experiences as young musicians with their unique brand of euphoric club cuts. Presented side by side as ‘Found In The Wild’, the first album from Eli & Fur shows the artists at their most assured.

Established house talent Harry Romero makes a standout debut on Rebellion with the Afro Horn EP, an
impressive two track release made specifically for the label.

“ It’s always a great experience when you set your sights on a certain sound and outcome when you’re in the
studio. ‘Afro Horn’ and ‘R.W.P.’ were created for Damian Lazarus. I’m glad he saw the vision and signed them
to his Rebellion imprint as no other label could have done them justice! ‘Afro Horn’ is a straight up deep tribal
experience framed around an African flute solo. I wanted to create a sort of beauty and the beast track with
this.‘RWP’ is a bit more musically sophisticated with its moving keyboard parts and a real spaced out
arrangement which gives it so much room to breath.” Harry Romero.

Afro Horn starts proceedings in a tribal fashion. A well-rounded kick merges with resonant percussion, that
takes the form of a rattlesnake’s tail, providing the track with an enigmatic, Saharan-like quality. R.W.P rounds
off the release. Keyboard chimes fuse with a gentle up-and-down bassline, as ethereal chords are layered
underneath to form an emotive dance-floor number.

A regular on the electronic music scene, Harry Romero ’s talent for adapting styles shows no signs of slowing
down. Traversing the various incarnations of house music with ease, the US native has produced multiple EPs
for Josh Wink’s Ovum Recordings as well as Yousef’s Circus Recordings; whilst his tougher, gritty productions
have found a home on Tronic Music in the past. With an upcoming Essential Mix, Harry Romero is really
beginning to cement his reputation as an esteemed and respected artist in the electronic music sphere.
