With elements of Bleep, Detroit, Belgian, Melodic, Techno(s), Acid, Tech, and Deep House(s), Dub, Post Punk, Synth Pop, Electroclash, EBM and New Beat, 'Bleep Bloop' is inspired by the post-industrial landscapes of the decaying urban English Midlands.

Composed by electronic multimedia enthusiast and aging techno geek Richard Douglas during his quest to create a soundtrack to accompany a collection of dystopian photographic images and with a nod to the UK's underdog Bleep scene of the 80s and 90s, rumbling sub basslines and sparse, angular waveforms feature throughout.

Audiofetish reached out to some of his talented deep music-creating colleagues and fellow DeepDonwnDirty producers and the original slow, seductive Dirty was remixed, resulting in this package of delights from Germany and the UK ranging from slick deep house / deep prog, seductive tech and even some tension-filled techno with an exciting peak-time twist of acid thrown in for the acid lovers out there.

First, a few words from the creator:
'True art comes from within and has no limits when we let ourselves go.
This album has been produced over the last year and is a journey through my emotional roller-coaster.
Nothing was really planned out; I just picked a key and tempo for each track and let the rest unfold.
Somehow, in the end, it all came together as though I had planned it from start to finish.
I chose very specific friends to remix songs that could use new directions and they delivered perfectly.'

If someone comes to you with eighteen tracks for an electronic music release, your first reaction may be 'What the...?!'. 
But when you listen to it, you realise that it's what may be classified as a 'techno concept album'; 'an album which has a unifying theme or that tells a single story' and which takes the listener on a creative journey.

German DJ / Producer Nadine Fehn makes her debut on DeepDownDirty with two powerful techno tracks characterized by the driving, deep sounds which Nadine is known for. 

Nadine Fehn - Baller Fritze
Swelling synths, sharp stabs and handclaps build a strong groove with a relentless drive. Looped voices add an additional rhythmic element. Synths stab and sustain whilst the meaty kick and metallic hats carry the groove. Edgy, dubby, and hypnotic, ‘Baller Fritze’ is the kind of 'Berlin Slang' techno that makes you feel like it’s 4am on the dance floor.


Nadine Fehn - Fine Selection
A percussive intro leads us to the main theme, a pleasing and catchy melodic figure fading up into the mix before the rhythm takes over with its throbbing bass line. The main synth returns with reverbed voices weaving in and out of the mix and into and though the main breakdown, after which the synth melody moves to the front of the mix and hats and voices take us to the outro. Deep, driving, edgy and dark.

About the producer:
Nadine Fehn started DJ-ing in 2006. She quickly made a name for herself in the German club scene and has played at many well-known clubs and festivals. Her own tracks are characterized by driving deep sounds.
