1984, packed with peak-time energy, is a DeepDownDirty debut by Denis Rabbe and his school friends Tabis & Dawn - and a celebration of them reuniting to make the music they love!
This techno release harks back to the electronic music which inspired Denis at the start of his musical journey.  Denis also loves house music and his alter ego, Denace 2 Society, has received support from established artists such as Marco Corola and Denis himself is no stranger to the Ibiza DJ circuit, having played there regularly since 2018.
As a community, DeepDownDirty seeks to encourage creatives to connect as well as to provide opportunities for those less familiar with the joys of releasing music. We were therefore delighted when Denis agreed to open this release up to creative remixers Sword Swinging Robot and Steve Hardaker, two of the talented members of Martin Christie's (now international) Electronic Music Open Mic event brand.
The team have enjoyed working with one another and with Compound Audio, our preferred mastering service, on what has turned out to be an absolute acid banger of a release!
