Stell dir vor, dichte Nebelschwaden hüllen das Feld in Surrealität, schemenhafte Umrisse treiben mysteriös in schwachen Konturen durch die Nasskälte und jedes Geräusch aus der trüben Ungewissheit entsendet deine Phantasie auf ein neues Abenteuer, als plötzlich ein erster als Sonnenstrahl getarnter Hoffnungsschimmer durch das Grau bricht und die Szenerie in ein atemberaubendes, warmes Zwielicht taucht.

Und genau so klingt „Nebelkrähe“: Getrieben von tiefen Bässen, startet Nebelkrähe eher kühl mit klassischen House-Stabs und distanzierten Pads, ehe in einem Reverb getränkten Break klangliche Sonnenstrahlen durch den Nebel direkt in dein Herz dringen. Wie ein Herbstspaziergang für die Ohren. Ein impressionistisches Gemälde zum Reinklettern. Ein heißer Kakao für die Seele.

Echoes of the Void is a personal project born from the urge to explore a different dimension of sound.
It sits somewhere between ambient, dub techno and cinematic textures — where music stops being linear and turns into atmosphere.

Each piece unfolds like a scene: minimal layers repeating and dissolving, resonances stretching into silence, tension that feels as present as the notes themselves. Between the analog and the digital, the brutalist and the ethereal, a universe emerges that shifts constantly — sometimes evoking the earth, sometimes the depths of the ocean, sometimes the vastness of space.

Echoes of the Void doesn’t try to provide answers. It offers a place to inhabit — an invitation to lose yourself in the echo, and discover within it a different way of listening.

Sound Avenue with Madloch 077 (November 2020)

This was the first day of my vacation, and from the very morning I ran to greet the sea. As soon as I got to my favorite place and stopped to enjoy the moment: blue sea, blue sky, clouds, waves, this beautiful little car of ripe persimmon color drove out from behind my back and stopped right by the water, lightly touching the waves with the front wheels.

We are pleased to present our latest chapter from DJ Joma (@jomadjay). His path to house music began 25 years ago when a friend of his gave him Sasha's BBC Radio One Essential Mix-tape. In recent years, he has taken his music to many places and Eastern Europe, especially Montenegro and Croatia, where in 2019 he performed for 12 nights consecutively at the Croatian Open ATP Tennis Tournament in Umag within various Beach clubs and VIP cocktail lounges. Although he has developed a style that suits perfectly for the venues he likes to play (Beach Clubs, Cocktail Bars, VIP Lounges, Exclusive Restaurants), what DJ Joma values most is that he's focused on enhancing the overall experience rather than imposing his own style as an artist. 
His mix is something a little deep and dreamy.

As we head in to the end of this crazy year, I have something really special coming on Dec.14th -- my debut EP on @configofself alongside label head, Alexander Church 🤩 
Alex & I first connected in early 2019 when I discovered his work through a promo I received. Instantly hooked on his lush melodic sound, his productions made regular appearances in my sets and this summer, he asked me to collaborate and do vocals - something I'd been wanting to do for a while. Deeply rooted in psychological thinking and ideas, both 'In the Field' and 'Curious Paradox' would become Configurations 12, with two vocal cuts & two instrumentals. They received great feedback & support from @gai-barone @jamiestevens, @navarofficial, @djnickwarren, @filterbear, @melodystranger, @whomadewho @chriscargo, @fractalarchitect and @Audioglider, to name a few. And you'll hear one of them on today's show :) 

I'm also excited to announce that I'm the new manager for Configurations of Self & will be working closely with Alex to grow the label in the coming year.
