Samantha Loveridge - DJ, producer and label manager at "Inward Records". A woman of many talents with a deep passion for all things music. Today Samantha gives us a taste of what to expect from her as she joins us on Easter Sunday for a Fan Club + Blueprint + WeLove take-over of the Marlborough Hotel. 

A few words from Samantha: 

"If I were to label the music I produce and play, it would be Afro-House - but with a hint of organic and melodic. I’m a sucker for a track that stands out because of a unique sounding synth or catchy vocal. 

Artists I'm inspired by, and always check up on to see where and what they’re playing, are the Keinemusik gang (Adam Port, Rampa, &ME) Dixon, Eagles & Butterflies, Tale Of Us and Solomun.

I try to structure my mixes and take the listener on a journey. Not everyone is into Afro-House as much as other genres, so I like to include tracks with emotion and a rework of something they might know to engage them, which you will hear in this mix. Despite everyone's genre taste, music is something everyone connects with in their own way. Regardless of peoples race, religion, gender or sexuality, music connects people from all over the world and watching everyone come together and connect on the dance floor is magical to me.

Full Circle - A story which inspired this music!

A year ago now, we celebrated important milestones and successes with our closest friends. With new beginnings awaiting, we were also faced with challenges in our lives, both as individuals and as a couple. In the face of adversity, we came together to create a musical symbol of our feelings of accomplishment and joy, but also adversity and hope. The memories from our “Manor of Love” set were so vivid, emotional, and vibrant, that we felt compelled to once again take the plunge into a musical experience together. 

One year later to the day, at the same location, again graced by a beautiful sunset and surrounded by our dearest friends, we came full circle. This time with a different mindset, celebrating a year of the challenges we overcame, with unbridled optimism and stronger love than ever. This mix symbolizes a full circle in our life, and a new sun’s revolution in our hearts.

Pippi Ciez born Birmingham England of Spanish heritage is an experienced producer, DJ, audio engineer & Co owner of Inward Records with Sparrow & Barbossa. His mysterious frequencies, percussive drums and other worldly sounds through composition seem to take you on spiritual journey through beautiful electronic production. Working with instrument players worldwide bring together real electronic orchestrated pieces.

Pippi has been keeping himself very busy in the lab with signings to Behrouz's label Do Not Sit and Lump Records to start off 2019 and a string of free releases on trndmsk, Sweet Musique, Suprematic Sounds and more to end last year.

2020 is seeing him collaborating with veterans of the sound Nu, Behrouz, Lost Desert, Idd Aziz & many more getting supported by All Day I Dream's, Lee Burridge, & Afro King Black Coffee has certainly woken people up to the sound of Pippi Ciez & inward Records.
