Mix 008 was recorded live at a birthday party. The entirety of the mix isn’t recorded due to poor audio recording. We were still able to save over a solid hour and fifteen min. 

This mix is dedicated to the birthday girl, Alicia. One word comes to mind when thinking Alicia, and that is “champion”. She will energized bunny through the night. Coordinating, decor, taking care of food, being funny cute and just unapologetically herself. She’ll party harder than anyone and then be up cleaning and prepare a full on gourmet breakfast. Straight champion. We had so much fun celebrating her and Talin yesterday! Thank you for being who you are and this dedicated mix is the least I can do to say how much we appreciate you and love you.

Our elenth episode welcomes Philip Chedid. Noted for his versatility and musical range, Philip attributes much of his influences to his Middle Eastern heritage and western upbringing. Known for his unmistakable sound, Philip's DJ sets and productions are rich with groovy hypnotic melodies and driving basslines. In his young years, Philip played in a few bands with his brother Julien and some high school mates, performing as musical act Elemental. Much of Philip's early nightlife experience began in the late 90s in Montreal at various events, many hosted by 514 Productions, Sona and Redlite. Over the years, he began working more frequently in the studio on original productions and remixes, and further developed his audio engineering skills. Currently, Philip resides in Los Angeles and is focusing on music production and developing the imprint Endless Sands of Time.

but bouncy harmonies are the connecting elements in the
musical proposal of Peruvian musician Marco Tegui.
In 2009 his electronical music career started, creating a big
impact in the South American scene. Later on in 2014,
Marco’s sounds arrived to Europe and he established his
residency in Berlin.
Playing in the best clubs of the city and releasing tracks in the
most emblematic labels, Marco had become a part of the
international underground Techno scene.
Now with more than 10 years of experience, he is a&r in one
of the most iconic labels of the city.
