T O C H E is dropping the techno bomb EP of the summer: « Prélude Du Désespoir »
Currently living in Toulouse (FR), Baptiste and Quentin met a few years ago during their studies in Chambéry (FR). Now evolving under the name of T O C H E, the duo has developed a truly unique ambient techno project, mixing deep percussive sounds, aerial pads, and mesmerizing acid lines.
Their modern, dark, and melancholic signature style is exemplified in this sublime EP « Prélude Du Désespoir ».
Introspective but tailored for big warehouse sound systems, the three original tracks of « Prélude Du Désespoir » are all about shades, contrasts, textures, and emotions. The duo knows how to
perfectly create an atmosphere that is both aerial, while at the same time rooting us to the rhythm and melodies.
The icing on the cake, the Parisian duo Mundopal offers a complex, precise, and grandiose remix to « La Bête Intérieure » that will set fire to any gig it is played — you won’t be able to get enough
of it!
Last but not least, Valerio Vaudano signs the remix of « Marais Silencieux », a track that will bring you to ecstasy with a soft and effective introduction that builds to a round but deep and sharpened
beat!

Italian DJ-producer JA:CK makes his debut on Family Piknik with two stellar tracks. Familiar to labels like Cocoon and Natura Viva, his psychedelic techno already caught up top list DJs attention like Sven Väth. Una Onda drops a rolling minimal techno groove, with sporadic snares answering to hypnotizing synth loops, while Asteroids directly sends us to another dimension thanks to a succession of sustained arpeggios surging from the cosmos.
Remixes are courtesy of French talent Albanø, regular member of our Family. He emphasizes the groove on Una Onda, using a deep bass line and dropping a disturbing break. San Francisco's duo Emanate, known for running their own Mioli Music brand and supported by artists such as Secret Cinema, offer a massive remix for Asteroids. Their powerful techno treatment completes this EP with the best energy.

"Intermezzo" is a child of Finnish producers CYRIL AWAKENS and Josu Mämmi. Their first EP combines the artists' styles into a mesmerizing journey with a strong pulse, hovering vocals, and a manifold of colours and emotions. 
Underlying themes such as parallel realities, sleep and constant online presence lit the artists' way while they pioneered their common path in the wilderness of sound and melodies. 

The title track opens the EP presenting a generative ambient soundscape topped with haunting anticipatory vocal lines. The opening leads to "Sporadic", a dance floor-oriented song about dreams and the fragile condition of ones mind. The EP ends where it all started, Josu Mämmi's remix of "Ghost". The idea to work together came when Josu heard CYRIL's brilliant original from their debut album "Virgin". After Josu had remixed the track, artists' set out to create the EP worthy of the 'Ghost' - remix, and so "Intermezzo" -EP was born.
