This week we feature a stellar mix from one of our favorite Miami locals, Nii Tei. He has crafted a mix of eclectic tracks to get your weekend started properly. As always please listen and share. 

Crediting his Ghananian roots as the soul of his music style, Nii Tei is a Miami, FL based DJ who has been a music enthusiast since birth. Also an avid fan of disco, house, techno, minimal, and Afro-influenced sounds, his sets are electrically infused with musical components of his mother country-- a style he's developed and perfected over the course of 5 years. Nii Tei is no stranger to Miami's underground music scene as his performance has frequented hot spots like Bardot, Do Not Sit On The Furniture, The Electric Pickle, Treehouse, Broken Shaker at the Freehand Miami, amongst many others. This South Florida based artist and his eclectic sets continue amusing dance floors all across Miami's best venues.

Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Journey Series!

Rolandson is Magician On Duty and process his thoughts & feelings about current influences on the basis of the political and social occurrences into that »Music has a Message« - Mix.

He is a traveler not a tourist. this traveler of tunes began his voyage in the mid 90s and has since explored the depths of 90s Berlin dub & techno, the electro swing revival in Paris/ France and Brighton/ England, downtempo and indigenous sounds from all over the world during his travels and discovering many more musical impulses that have shaped his life along the years. So in this his selections are always a highly curated combination of unique tracks that are timeless and that overcome the boundaries of genre, country, or context. 

When he’s not behind the decks, he’s the driving force behind his label and podcast series “Seasidetrip”, which he started in 2012 after recording a mix at sea. Since the first Seasidetrip mix, many artists have have interpreted their love and longing for the sea in their own mixes, contributing to the growth of this wonderful project which has not only touched the hearts of its listeners, but also led to many friendships and inspiring collaborations with other artists along the way.
