Basti Grub is on fire, there is no other way to say it! After having one of the stand out tracks of 2016 with Oh Baby Dance (together with Natch & Dothen) he is back and this time he has teamed up with V!to. Together the pair have cooked up a tune that is ready to bring full summer vibes to the club, even in the dead of winter.
When Doves Cry gets off to a rolling start with a sea of funky percussion and perfectly warm and syncopated bass that is so well crafted, it could be the full extent of the track and it would still be a bomb! But, that’s not how these boys roll. A combination of spoken vocals and expertly chopped up shouts bring the energy up and spread the blissful vibes before the main break opens and the real show begins. A familiar vocal enters and everything clicks into place, all the subtle sounds you heard earlier suddenly make perfect sense. This is a masterfully crafted musical journey that is guaranteed to bring a wave of smiles and hands in the air to any dance floor where it is played. A feel good track no doubt, but one that is put together with such restraint and precision that it is sure to stand the test of time.

In November we had the pleasure to release "Lunation" the second studio album of our favorite Berliner duo Luna City Express. The album includes 16 amazing tracks riding from house/techno to downbeat and funk with a lot of good vocal and musical featuring. We thought to ask some of the label's and LCE fav producer to put their touch on some selected tracks to release the remixes.
For the Part 1 of this exciting project we have on board Dario D'Attis touching "Victims of the Funk" and Breyn on Smokin Bull.

Berlin based producer Robosonic combines with Dutch producer Ferreck Dawn to release on Kittball Records this October, with two originals and remixes from Guz and Deepshakerz.

With an extensive back catalogue including releases on Get Physical, Defected and Simma Black, Cord Labuhn aka Robosonic has garnered a reputation for producing high quality house influenced by the sounds of US Hip Hop and soul, whilst Amsterdam raised Ferreck Dawns lengthy career has seen a plethora of releases on the likes of Relief and Toolroom. 

This collaborative release fully encompasses the fresh and deep sound of Kittball Records.The duos Nine to Phife offers delectable piano riffs on top of layered of vocal samples, metallic percussion and spaced out pads, before Were There demonstrates hypnotic melodies and ethereal atmospheres that create space for the vocal to be warped, whilst skilfully crafted drum loops underpin the composition.

Next up, Amsterdam based Guz contributes his take on Nine to Phife as airy utterances of the tracks title float above an elastic bass hook and powerful rhythms, before Italian duo Deepshakerz close the release in style with their remix of Were There, utilising an infectious melody that smoothly interacts with modulated vocal licks.
