Berlin based producer Robosonic combines with Dutch producer Ferreck Dawn to release on Kittball Records this October, with two originals and remixes from Guz and Deepshakerz.

With an extensive back catalogue including releases on Get Physical, Defected and Simma Black, Cord Labuhn aka Robosonic has garnered a reputation for producing high quality house influenced by the sounds of US Hip Hop and soul, whilst Amsterdam raised Ferreck Dawns lengthy career has seen a plethora of releases on the likes of Relief and Toolroom. 

This collaborative release fully encompasses the fresh and deep sound of Kittball Records.The duos Nine to Phife offers delectable piano riffs on top of layered of vocal samples, metallic percussion and spaced out pads, before Were There demonstrates hypnotic melodies and ethereal atmospheres that create space for the vocal to be warped, whilst skilfully crafted drum loops underpin the composition.

Next up, Amsterdam based Guz contributes his take on Nine to Phife as airy utterances of the tracks title float above an elastic bass hook and powerful rhythms, before Italian duo Deepshakerz close the release in style with their remix of Were There, utilising an infectious melody that smoothly interacts with modulated vocal licks.

Opening track 'Habitual' is a deep & moody affair with incandescent flair and the legacy of DNCN's vocal's . Percussive rhythms and a mystical groove wrap themselves around the vocal with hypnotic effect , A sure fire attention grabber.

Gorge takes the original and put's it firmly on the knowledgeable tech house floors , fully retaining the main vocal Pit brings the levels up and delivers an underground tech house gem that while keeping the flow of the original adds a more tougher edge to the track proving why he is at the top of the game when delivering those special moments to a floor.

Next up and fresh from his Beatport top 10 hit on the label is George Smeddles and in true Smeddles fashion the groove is utilized to major effect with a more faster paced tribal percussion feel and a super cool burning bass line that will shine on big systems and big rooms.

Closing the EP we have 'Stay Up' and here Freddy & Savi move straight to the peak time with a thumping bass led groove with staggered vocals all wrapped nicely around a heady kick and rhythm section . A welcome return to the label for LA's dynamic duo'

Coming in fresh for the summer season with their third outing on Hive Audio is the Swiss duo named Sous Sol with a follow up to their massive „Taonga EP“. Bringing forth two new original tracks and a remix by Romanian electronic music staple Mihai Popoviciu, their new release the „Dizzy Rhythm EP“, fully lives up the pairings high quality standards and is soon to be heard on a dancefloor near you.

Opening with the title track „Dizzy Rhythm“ Sous Sol are employing a deep, tribalistic vibe for a start,  fusing intricate, complex percussion lines with a seductive TechHouse groove and masterly crafted synth arrangements bringing forth a well balanced amount of mystique and drive ideal for intimate late settings as well as epic moments throughout large scale sunrise sessions.

On a remix tip for „Dizzy Rhythm“ is no-one less than Mihai Popoviciu. The Romanian Techno legend who's left a trail of releases on high quality labels like International Deejay Gigolo, Poker Flat Recordings, Bedrock Records and many more over the years turns towards a more dancefloor focused  approach in his rework, strips things down a little, adds quite a distinct, stoic hi-hat whilst staying true to a certain, dreamlike and well trance inducing feel for an ultimate lift-off.

Finally „Hazy Vision“ sees Sous Sol on a well funky tip, once again bringing forth masterly crafted percussion vibes alongside a classic uplifting pad motif harking back to a mid-90s House vibe accompanied by large scale build-ups and the duos trademark mysticism, all falling into place to channel dancefloor energies towards a huge, and surely inevitable, climax.
