It's safe to say that 2013 has been the biggest year in Gregor Tresher's career so far. Remixing Depeche Mode & Moby, releasing his 4th full length album and completing another tour around the globe spanning over more than 8 months, there is no stopping in sight for the man. So, to end the year in style, Gregor and Break New Soil are set to unleash another track that is destined to become a highlight in the label's history. "Nightcolors", the title track from Gregor's album, has received stunning and rare remix from none other than Laurent Garnier! 

Gregor says: "Laurent has always been one of my absolute favorite DJs and musicians. I can still remember when I saw him playing for the first time at Dorian Gray in Frankfurt in 1993. I was standing next to the booth watching him work his magic, and I remember it was one of the key moments that made me want to become a DJ myself. So now - to get one of my own tracks remixed by him really is a dream coming true and I think the result speaks for itself: Laurent is on top of his game, more than ever!"

Today's guest: ZeitlupenUwe, localizing himself "somewhere between slow motion techno and down tempo house" thereby asserting to be "free of talent but creative" - sounds good to us! ZeitlupenUwe just got on board of the Clap your Hands family, where he found the tender family he needs to be creative, carrying him through the hard fairways of the Berlin electronic music scene. One act of creativeness (and of poring over statute books): After experiencing few party vacations and following complaints, he invented the pretty charming idea of „Open Air to go“, which became a story of success soon. Just in line with official regulations, saying everyone is allowed to operate a radio on public green spaces, as long as nobody feels disturbed by it, guests bring along their radios, directly receiving the music a DJ is playing on site. Nice manoeuvre! Nice podcast! Nice guy! Thank you, ZeitlupenUwe!

Anybody who has been to the festival in Detroit knows that Monday is the final stretch of an epic weekend. People find the last bit of energy they can muster up and head down to Hart Plaza one more time. 

As I was surrounded by dark, hard techno on Monday night, I took over at the underground stage and went for a slightly more funky and uplifting set that I think was a perfect fit for the final day of the festival. Enjoy!

As if Coyu hasn't given Skint enough with his 2011 floor filler remix of “X-Press 2 - Muzik Xpress”, he's back again to pay homage to one of the greatest and most celebrated Skint releases of all time. Fatboy Slim - Right Here, Right Now. 

Coyu takes the iconic string / sitar loop, laces it with a shimmering hi-hat rhythm over a pounding kick drum and punctuates it with choral stabs, to create a funked up club banger that manages to retain all the drama of the original. Take that dance floor; see if you can better this. Hands will be lifted, feet will be stomped and parties will peak. 

Can anyone contain the possibilities of this track? We don't think so. It's stamped its place in dance music history and who better to reaffirm its position than Suara boss man, Coyu.
