The next release on Black Seven Music comes from up-and-coming Brazilian-born artist Jaxx B as he presents a stunning body of work in ‘Your Vibe’.

Inspired by Sidney Charles, Toman, Dimmish, Max Chapman & many other predominantly groove-led artists, Jaxx B’s sound is renowned for its ghetto and edgy flair. Joining him on his latest release, rising Birmingham-based talent Vito offers a stellar remix to complete an impressive three-track package.

The title track ‘Your Vibe’ kicks the release off with deep and groovy vibes throughout. A rolling bed of drums and scattered percs give the track some punch, while rhythmic sub-bass and arpeggiating synths bring character to the mix - nicely brought together by an enchanting female vocal hook.

Vito comes next with his remix of ‘Your Vibe’, bringing a more uptempo and energetic rendition of the original. Thumping kicks and roaring sub-bass meet strings, synths, fills and creative sampling - teamed once again with a killer female vocal.

Jaxx B closes the release with a lashing of underground prowess. ‘Live’ is an undeniably rich basement jam, packed with power and atmosphere. Another flurry of driving drum work, matched with rippling synths and samples, tied together with creative FX, subtle injections of strings, Chicago-style keys and more. What a way to finish!

Federico Ambrosi continues to cement his role as one of today’s most exciting prospects with a stripped-back release on Hottrax entitled ‘Conscious’. 

Although he’s been releasing music for the best part of a decade the last couple of years have been incredible for the Italian producer having made appearances on Repopulate Mars, Paul’s Boutique, NONSTOP, Stereo Productions, Relief and Sola. Picking up support from the upper echelons of house music, such as Lee Foss, Solardo, Green Velvet, Detlef, and Jamie Jones, the latter now invites him to debut on his Hottrax imprint. 

‘Conscious’ is a rhythmic cut with crunchy drums, squelchy atmospherics and a quivering synth designed to compel crowds into a trance during the afterhours. ‘Analize’ is more robust in comparison: adding more thump to the kicks as a metallic snare, murky spoken word sample and viscous bassline powers everything forward.
