Guy Andrews is a fascinating London-based producer and DJ with a surprisingly wide range of sonic textures and vibes. He mostly releases ambient, post rock mood heavy pieces which are as brooding as they are thoughtful. His production has landed him on a load of great label rosters including Houndstooth, Hemlock, Erased Tapes, Hotflush and Mesh. He also has a very different side: pure unfiltered space techno that should only be listened to from the command center while traversing at warp speed.  I think it's safe to say we got a visit from his techno sensibilities with this exclusive mix. Strap in!

One night was never enough, at least not in this town when everyone had their price, vice and rolled the dice. It was a strange old place with characters from far and wide, the city stood tall unfazed by the charades which played out beneath an empire of profit and eccentricity. It was a ballers paradise and a paupers plague, at least to the naked eye. 

Justin Cudmore hasn't released an independent record this year but that's not to say he sure as hell hasn't been busy. Now as we approach the closing act of 2018 he delivers a strong minded two track affair on Phonica White. Strap in.

Concrete Paris resident Sweely steps up to release a stack of stripped back and pumping house cuts on his 'Beauty Is Random' EP via Automatic Writing. Rounding out the release is the tripped out and driving dancefloor weapon 'Non Stop Funkin'', which showcases Sweely's intricate production style with various textures coming together to deliver a rolling and pacey house bomb.  

The 'Beauty Is Random' EP is set for release February 28.

Following the exhilarating ‘Baby’ on Drumcode, Tiger Stripes returns to Truesoul with a pair of retro-inspired house cuts. 

The Swede has one of the deepest discographies in house and techno, marked by an ear for deep grooves, dynamic arrangements and cleverly utilised vocals. In a career spanning 15 years, those-in-the-know won’t argue: he’s one of the industry’s most dependable and creative talents. 

His last outing on Truesoul was the inspiring cross-genera collaboration ‘Sound of The Bettest’
with Riva Starr. A year on, his return ‘Sneaking Hotdogs into People’s Pockets’ likewise revels in scribbling outside the lines. The title comes from a segment on the popular Youtube Channel Vlog Creations and the track similarly fizzes with the same sense of fun. Tiger Stripes says he wanted to create a cut influenced by his “guilty pleasure” of ‘90s influenced dance pop music, while crafting a work that stays true to his production style, imbued with plenty of depth, groove and soul. The resulting vocal-driven track does this with deft spirit. ‘Guidelines’ is similarly a trip down memory lane. Named after the club night he used to run in Stockholm, he extracts influenced from his home country’s fertile scene in the early 2000s, where disco-influenced house and techno ruled the roost.

Dana Ruh links up with her good friend Arno, also know as Einzelkind, to release a batch of tripped and stripped house bombs via Ruh's Brouqade imprint, which includes the driving dancefloor weapon 'Echocancellation'. With early support from the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Raresh and Ryan Elliot, among others, expect to be hearing these cuts permeate throughout clubland.

'The Dial Up' EP is set for release April 4.
