Mental Traveler is one of the side projects from CJ Art, worldwide respected electronic music producer and underground DJ from Poland. MT alias is dedicated mainly to deep, atmospheric and immersive instrumental electronic music such as downtempo, cinematic, ambient, electronica, chillout, psybient, progressive-chill, meditative and world music. Building musical stories and taking listeners on a unique immersive music journey (regardless of the genre of music), that’s his main goal. He had the pleasure of performing on countless indoor and outdoor events and well known festivals in his home-country, across Europe and in Australia. Samsara, Dakini, Dragon Dreaming, Audioriver, Egodrop, S.U.N., Ufo Bufo, Summer Contrast, LAS, Tribe Calling, Elixir of Life, Burning Mountain, these are some of the events he has had the opportunity to play at in recent years. At these and many other gigs, appeared great opportunity to share the stages with artists who are some of his biggest inspirations like Simon Posford (Shpongle / Younger Brother), Solar Fields, Carbon Based Lifeforms, Desert Dwellers, Juno Reactor, John 00 Fleming, Moshic, Cabeiri, Kliment, Etnica, Suduaya, Globular, Grouch, Hedflux, Be Svendsen, Johnny Blue, Zen Baboon, Paul Kwitek, Sundial Aeon among many others.

"Scattered in Between" is an album produced by CJ Art under his newest side projects name - Mental Traveler. MT alias is dedicated mainly to deep, atmospheric and immersive instrumental electronic music such as organic electronica, downtempo, ambient, drone, cinematic, chillout, psybient, progressive-chill, world music and similar. The album is the result of a stream of consciousness ongoing in recent crazy and uncertain times. LP has been finished with the end of the pandemic and been waiting for its moment to see the light of day. What is hidden under "Scattered in Between"? It is an oneiric journey inside ourselves. A journey through various scattered worlds. Worlds suspended between what is real and unreal, "Lunacy" and sobriety, "Noir" and light, between reality and dreamlike. Sometimes we are in a state of low consciousness like during "Sleepwalking" and we are "Not Quite Awake", sometimes we drift away with our thoughts to the unexplored regions of the universe to feel the "Mystifying Phenomenon", and sometimes we experience extatic, euphoric and purifying moment of "Katharsis". Everything somewhere in between. We use to close ourselves in our shell in the world of "Illusions" and "Enter the Temple" of our own imaginations, but we are also "Stepping out" of our comfort zone to feel like a "Late Night's Nomad" walking "Somewhere in the Woods" looking for freedom. Finally, we realize that we are not the center of the universe and "Our Absence Won't Make the World Stop Turning"...

2023 was a special year for me as Mental Traveler. Even though the project has been running for a little longer, this is the year, when the first MT's full length album with fourteen compositions have seen the daylight thru DeeperSoundscapes imprint. Apart from Mental Traveler's ambient set on Ambient Stage (which will be also uploaded later), I had a great pleasure to perform for you officialy first Mental Traveler LIve Act this summer at Uroczysko Festival (IMHO currently the best Polish festival representing the broadly understood psychedelic culture 🕉 ).
Peformance happened right after legendary Lauge & Baba Gnohm at Chill Stage (in Polish called Czajnik, eng. Teapot) placed in amazingly magical spot, sourranded by the forest with fantastic installations, lights and unique atmosphere 🍃🌀🌲 
Thanks to all who came and took this sound trip in picturesque forest of Uroczysko, you’ve created really wonderful energy and atmosphere around the stage, what happened there was amazing, just thinking about those moments I still have goosebumps ✨ Thank you for magic time together and hats off to the Uroczysko Festival team for making it happen 🙏
