Mental Traveler is one of the side projects from CJ Art, worldwide respected electronic music producer and underground DJ from Poland. MT alias is dedicated mainly to deep, atmospheric and immersive instrumental electronic music such as downtempo, cinematic, ambient, electronica, chillout, psybient, progressive-chill, meditative and world music. Building musical stories and taking listeners on a unique immersive music journey (regardless of the genre of music), that’s his main goal. He had the pleasure of performing on countless indoor and outdoor events and well known festivals in his home-country, across Europe and in Australia. Samsara, Dakini, Dragon Dreaming, Audioriver, Egodrop, S.U.N., Ufo Bufo, Summer Contrast, LAS, Tribe Calling, Elixir of Life, Burning Mountain, these are some of the events he has had the opportunity to play at in recent years. At these and many other gigs, appeared great opportunity to share the stages with artists who are some of his biggest inspirations like Simon Posford (Shpongle / Younger Brother), Solar Fields, Carbon Based Lifeforms, Desert Dwellers, Juno Reactor, John 00 Fleming, Moshic, Cabeiri, Kliment, Etnica, Suduaya, Globular, Grouch, Hedflux, Be Svendsen, Johnny Blue, Zen Baboon, Paul Kwitek, Sundial Aeon among many others.

So happy to share my downtempo & psychill Dj set from Algiz Glänta at Forest Star Festival 2023.  🦊🦊 🦊

I had really the best time playing there in this secret magical forest clearing, taking in the incredible sweet vibes of the tribe-friends enjoying there. Dancing, chilling, stretching, making out or just hanging out enjoying some delicious chai and delicious company. The Spirits of the Forest where mingling there with us for sure. It was truly beautiful.  🐸🦉🐛🪶🐾🍄🍀🌞🌸🔥✨

I want to say a big thank you to the Uhrla Tribe, and especially to Sara for inviting me into your festival and company to share my sound and energy with you all. I feel very grateful and honored, and I am still tingling with a sweet crush on my new Swedish tribe-friends. 💜

I also want to send a big thank you to Dj Fada and Kalya Scintilla from Merkaba Records for so generously sending me the new Kalya Scintilla album Mumijo before the release date so that I could play some of the incredible tracks in this set.  Wow! That was really an honor to receive.  🧡

In this set I play many new downtempo and psychill tracks and some of my more old time favorites like Dragon's Mist by Desert Dwellers - Kaminanda remix, Behind The Veil by Makyo, and Hollow by Oco - Balancé remix. 🔥

I also play 2 of my own psy chill tracks: Hidden Gates and Shamanic Trance State, and my remix of Eivør’s legendary song Trøllabundin. And it was the first time I played the latter in a festival, and how amazing to see, hear and feel your response. Thank you so much!   🐺 🐺 🐺

“...Divine Ritual is an transdisciplinary project that moves between the dimensions of performance art and live creation. The experimental landscape is primarily constituted by the relationship between performers and spectators, within a creative path aimed at generating a ritual. The spectator, with their presence, will be a founding part of the creative design of the ritual itself. The ritual, which draws on the essential elements of Greek mythology, particularly the myth of Persephone and the Eleusinian Mysteries, is the archetypal experience in which sound and body are fused together, energy and matter converge in a single language, and full immersion between the terrestrial world and the cosmos is achieved. In an experimental process, the manipulation of electronic music sound will rhythmically punctuate the various moments, reaching a peak of tension and sonic pressure, determining the foundations of the ritual action, serving as a moment of ablution and then of expressive effusion for the performers, exploring the possibility of alerting the body enveloped in an uninterrupted sonic envelope and exposed to a collective vibration in which it is impossible to perceive a separation between performers and spectators. From listening to this inspiration, and guided by intuition and perception, the performers will linger in an empirical area with the sole support of three dramaturgical keys: DESCENT, SEARCH, ASCENT (as in the diachronic sequence of the Eleusinian Mysteries).
