why do I feel so unmotivated and lazy. nothing went wrong in my life so far infact everything's going fine but for some reason the exams are near and I can't make myself study I'm always so fucking tired after school. maybe it's my busy schedule but honestly it's not even that bad I do have time to study but I don't have the motivation to do it and I end up crying because I can't study litterally it's so annoying I just want to escape I want to get away from this stupid reality this stupid world where I have to have so much tuition and stress honestly am I even stressed I don't think I even have that much work but I always can't fork out the motivation to do well I'm not saying I don't want to it's just this weird pressure I'm feeling makes me feel like I can't study because of it and I end up sleeping instead of getting anything done I can't stop sleeping I'm always so fucking tired bro what the fuck I'm only 14 why do I feel so fucking weird like this I'm so done bro actually just kill me I'm not even kidding I'm so done with life it's so annoying fuck why am I so weak I hate this I hate everything I just wanna leave it all behind and dissapear forever it's so annoying everything is so annoying I'm so fucking stupid and annoying I hate everything

Four Eyes has fast become a need to know producer in the underground. Based in Hertfordshire, the young UKG protege has made huge strides over the past 18 months, with an array of bootlegs and original productions doing damage in A-list DJs sets. From initially being picked up by the queens of UKG scene Girls Don’t Sync, he’s become a staple in many headline artists sets with plays coming in left, right and centre from Printworks, Warehouse Project, DJ Mag livestreams and clubs around the UK, to the other side of the world in Australia and New Zealand courtesy of Conducta.

Producing since a young teen, some six years on he’s watched the UKG sound take off for a second time, taking huge inspiration from current stars of the scene and beyond such as Skrillex, Salute, Interplanetary Criminal and Sammy Virji. Since embedding himself firmly in the Buntai collective with tracks already hitting over a quarter of a million streams and being widely supported, he’s already been getting some of the action for himself, playing shows in London at the likes of Hootenanny, right up to Manchester at the infamous Hidden and Joshua Brooks.

Not shy of a chaotic edit for the clubs, some of whom are well aware from his take on Rihannas ‘Disturbia’, he steps forward once more with a Grime/UKG hybrid flip of Skeptas legendary ‘I Spy’ for his first appearance on 1Forty for their first free download of 2023.

Originally from Chicago, Aztek relocated to Utah, planting him firmly in an expanding underground music scene, and the source inspiration for Summit's contents. On his way home from working in Park City, Utah, Aztek would drive down the mountain pass and would experience an inversion on the horizon, seeing the buildup of pollution sit over the mountain. The haze that he continued to see night after night became a symbol and inspiration for what he wrote in Summit. This time in Aztek's life also bred a desire to find the peaks within, pushing him to define an album that coalesces with the Courteous Family identity and his unique sense of artistry. 

Summit is a beautiful blend between the primal and the abstract, touching on many landscapes within the electronic world. Experimentation and cross-genre blends call to the Courteous Family ethos, extracting elements from tribal, bass, electronic, trap, and zouk. The depth to the rhythms and sound designs creates a valley of emotion, moving in organized frameworks that morph through each section. It's engaging and technically designed electronic music that calls on as much experimentation as it does structural clarity.
