Marcellus makes his Hottrax debut this May with ‘Reeces Pieces’.
 
London-born DJ & producer Marcellus had had a bountiful 12 months, dropping flavours across Elrow, Relief and Deeperfect, grabbing the attention of Dennis Cruz, Michael Bibi and Jamie Jones. Now, the UK talents’ beats have landed on Jones’ Hottrax for the first time in the shape of his weighty four-track EP ‘Reeces Pieces’. 

Ghostly pads float over snaking percussion in the fibrous lead track ‘Reeces Pieces’ as male and female vocals battle it out over a brooding bassline, before ‘Reputation' brings the funk with slappy strings, jazzy motifs and deep tones. Next, ‘Wild’ takes no prisoners with pounding low-ends and sassy, loopy lyrics alongside twisted samples, ahead of the swung ‘closing track‘ ‘2003’, harnessing convulsing synths and crescendoing drumrolls as a fitting finale for this dancefloor-ready EP.

Italian DJ and producer, Sante Sansone, makes his debut on Pirate Copy's Kaluki Musik this summer with the brand new, 'Danger' EP. Since an early age, Sante has always been fascinated by music and DJing and has been furthering his career in the industry throughout the past decade. With releases now to his name on respected labels including Solid Grooves Raw, Hottrax, Saved, Toolroom, Stereo and Lapsus alongside countless gigs across the globe in some of the industry's most sophisticated venues. The new 'Danger' EP showcases Sante's signature sound and style, delivering frantic drum loops, fantastically bubbling basslines, hypnotic vocal hooks, thundering kicks and rumbling low ends, all combining to shape up yet another impressive EP from Sante Sansone.

Launched as a home for impactful club-focused productions, Solid Grooves' sister imprint Solid Grooves Raw has released some of the collective's biggest go-to anthems of late, with artists such as Josh Butler, Ramin Rezaie, Beltran, JUST2 and Antss dropping heat on the label.

Usually an annual fixture in the calendar, 2022 becomes the first year to see two VA offerings on the imprint as the UK favourites return with the fourth volume of 'Raw Grooves', locked and loaded with both returning and fresh talent. Stepping things up again, the fourth in the series sees returning trio Carloh, CHKLTE, and Shokë drop fresh material while unveiling impressive label debuts from emerging names in Elijah Wolfe, Francis De Simone, Inavo, Kidoo, Havoc & Lawn and Dot N Life.
